It's one of the great things about the podcast. They never touch politics and when they do its almost always sarcastically or just as a joke, never for anything serious. And more so than that its just hilarious! I love the banter between these two. Reminds me of when I used to talk to my friends in high school.

I think afluenza is more symptomatic of being an arsehole. It is just being "caused" by being so rich you are shielded from any consequences or responsibility. Which in turn causes a mental disconnect between you being a bad person and you receiving bad things, feelings, emotions or experiences. I wonder how long that diagnosis has left in the mental health handbook?

No way at all the Highlander beats Raiden. Raiden has more known feats. and has been immortal for quite sometime giving him MUCH more fighting experience. Raiden would know if he's dead or not and also know how to kill a highlander. Even when Raiden puts himself into a body, he retains his powers. On top of that, the enemies he faces are far smarter/cunning than any of the highlander enemies. Jax could solo the highlander universe. lol

Not that you guys care, but since the comment helps: I disagree about Dredd beating the Mando if we assume he can't shoot through the beskar. Cause if we are talking peak Mando it's either the compound raid in episode 3 when he has the insta kill darts that can kill a half dozen dudes at the same time, or when he has a jetpack with a built in rocket launcher plus his gun plus a flamethrower plus a magic baby

Smaug versus Strange - it’s all down to how fast Smaug can gob up a flame. We’ve seen how long it takes Strange to operate a sling-ring, so if Smaug can flame-throw quicker that Strange can describe a circle in the air with this hands then it’s Smaug for the win.

True, but they're taking each character at their peak. Fat Thor started as a broken man/god, but by the end of the movie he had regained his mojo and that's the version that would likely end up in the Football stadium

Smaug, in a stadium, sees a danger. He immediately takes to the sky and swoops down to toast Dr Strange. That’s a much tougher call, as Smaug us now a fast-moving target. Strange may not be able to slip a magic noose around Smaug’s neck, and it is an established fact that dragon-fire is vastly hotter that any forged heat. Still Strange for the win, maybe, but I could imagine a Smaug-on-the-wing staging an upset.

You know that first fight made me wonder something that I don't think has come up before. What if one of the combatants are larger than a football field? Because an American football field is ~100 meters long by however wide and Smaug is fucking massive. I still agree strange would kill him though

I would argue that Fat Thor is stronger considering he was temporarily able to prevent Thanos from stabbing him through the chest with Stormbreaker, despite Thanos having an advantage in leverage. If he had remembered that he could generate lightning internally that scene would have ended very differently.
