Parents and Guardians:
Due to the rapidly increasing COVID positive and exposure numbers in the Randolph County School System among students and staff, all Randolph County Schools will be virtual Friday, January 14th through Friday, January 21st: Students will return to school on Monday, January 24th. Chromebooks will be sent home with students today, and any paper packets or material will be sent home tomorrow. If your child is already at home due to sickness or quarantine, please contact your child’s school to schedule a time for pick-up of any assignments.
We will offer curbside meal pick-up on Friday, January 14th, Tuesday, January 18th and Thursday, January 20th at 10:00 AM. Meals can be ordered at www.randolphboe.org or by calling the School Cafeteria. Students may receive one breakfast and one lunch for each day that the student will be working from home but may pick up multiple days of meals at one time. Please place your order prior to 7:00 am of the day of pickup.
Faculty and Staff should report to their schools as normal unless they have a positive test. Please monitor your child’s work through the week, whether it is in the form of packets or on their Chromebooks. You may contact your child’s teacher via email or school phone if there are questions about their assignments.
I encourage everyone to practice social distancing, wear masks, and to wash your hands frequently to help curb this current spike. Thank you for your continued support of our efforts to maintain the safety of our school community.
