You say Pelikan the way we Germans do, you’re good. 👍🏻 I’m with you on the sentimental value of pens, gifts are special and I always have at least one from my husband inked as well as my favorite of all times ( heheh maybe there will be a video.. 😜) and pens from my brother, my kids and my dad. “He said it was,” regarding your husband on whether or not your category was superlative made me laugh pretty hard. My Pelikans M805 Stresemann and M1005 Stresemann are my best writers. I think the M805 is almost perfect. I would steer clear of TWSBI. I have a Vac Mini that is truly the Pen of Theseus - I’ve replaced every part in it multiple times, no exaggeration. I night it in 2016 and every plastic part has been replaced at least twice. I’d bet I’ve dumped double the cost of the pen into shipping for replacement parts. You’ve got great taste in pens!
I honesty try not to try too hard in my videos. They are videos about pens and ink; it should be fun. I’m glad you had a laugh too! That TWSBI sounds cursed!!
@@Desert_Inkwellsadly not as cursed as one would think, I had two that cracked even tho they had never been inked and were just sitting in the pen chest. Naturally being limited edition colors, the replacement parts in the correct color were not available.

Hi Jeffrey, what an entertaining video! Funny that you mentioned the Pilot in Amber- that is the exact reason I don’t have one (so far…). I like changing inks and using samples and a Vac filler drives me nuts 😅 Nettuno wasn’t on my radar, yours is really beautiful!

If it’s the pen brand, you’re saying Pelikan correctly. But if you’re just talking about the birds, say it normally. Haha.
