@TheLegendaryWolfx one line even better: Zod: why do you say this to me? When you know I will kill you for it? In the original cadence and meter, not Richard Donner. Zod was honestly confused by Lex saying that? It defied all logic Zod understood.
totally agree!! i felt same with Justice League.. love Snyders version, but “not impressed” doesn’t hold up to him simultaneously showing up in traditional colors and saying “ya know i believe in truth, but i’m also a fan of justice*
@@user-ls9qc8eh5zI did! I hate the disrespect shown to Richard Donner but having researched as much as key people can remember, I am forced to admit that the 51% Lester 49% Donner theatrical cut is better than Donner's original vision.
I am inclined to agree with you. It’s both badass and still in character for superman. I also feel that the Lester version has a few advantages over the donner one like how he defeats Zod and his gang in the end as opposed to turning the clock back to the beginning.
@@shooterdownunder yeah it's one of those ironies that had Donner done both films according to his original plot we'd all be here saying how much he dropped the ball by making at least the 2nd and possibly both movies effectively meaningless by turning back time! 😜
This clip played on the telly about a month before the film opened and luckily I managed to record it on VHS. I pretty much replayed that 30 second clip of video to tatters before the film opened.
