You forgot the last part of that definition of insanity, Jirard: "Doing the same thing over and over again *expecting a different result*"

I remember watching Proton Jon's LP of this game and some of the information he dug up on it alluded to something very interesting. Supposedly, the game that was published wasn't actually the final product, but was the unfinished beta build, and they didn't realize it until it was too late. It was apparently such a disaster that they just wanted to pretend it never happened and that this game never existed, because they placed everyone involved in the project under contract to never speak of the development process. This includes the CO Founder of Titus, Eric Caen who when asked about what was removed from the game, said, "I'm not allowed to say what was cut. But it was a lot." He also says something about DC and WB causing them a lot of trouble and states that there were "Political reasons" for why the game is the way it is and that, curiously enough, the rings only show up in the tutorial levels. The contract was still legally binding in 2011 and may still be so today.

I wouldn't have held it against him to bring back the "burn it" rating just for this game. It, along with ET, are the only games truly deserving of such treatment.

The mascot from Titus interactive is actually a fox. He even has his own game on MS-DOS called Titus Fox. Its... Better than this, even if thats not saying much.

I love how the game's so bad he has to use the soundtrack of an awesome game to try and make it seem better

I read an interview with the producer of this game agreed this was a terrible game and was not even 10% of what they fully wanted and were going for. They were really wanting to make this an open world game, but the fault of being terrible was because DC bitching too much causing production to be slow and missing marketing dates, along with being rushed. Sad how DC were the one's at fault for ruining what would of been a good game of the designers had more leeway. I guess in an alternate universe Superman is an N64 classic and innovative in the sandbox genre.

Can't say if it was planned but at 11:47 I think the name of a bad guy that would be doing this is weather master. He was in the cartoon show when superman and flash were doing a race.
