These are about as comic-accurate as the costumes get. Really a toss-up, but I might prefer the Gerard Christopher emblem slightly because it resembles the way many comic artists drew it, vs. the trademark-style S on the Newton suit. This show had a ton of involvement from DC writers and editors, to a degree not seen before or maybe since. Funny that it all happened just as Superboy disappeared from DC continuity.
Gerard's S was bigger. It was strange they did this show when Superboy was removed from DC Continuity. The show feels dated because it's based on an older version of the Superman origin, most Superman media have him not suit up until he's an adult.
I'd love to hear your thoughts on Brandon Routh's Kingdom Come suit from the CW's adaptation of Crisis on Infinite Earths and Tyler Hoechlin's Fleischer suit from Superman & Lois.
It did impossible it took perfection chris costume and improved with the S strait from the licenses and comics tom welling needed this if this is not on screen theres just no point .do not reinvent wheel do that
