@fooloof Technically Brandon Routh came close because canonically he's the same Superman. Either way, someone ought to fly around the earth a bunch and stop Chris from mounting that horse.
Well, maybe had more heart but even this sounds funny. Superman made the less strong people stronger. He would have helped a weak soccer team win. So why you claim this
I never get tired of hearing this piece of epic film music. It takes me back to the first time I heard this in 1978 in a local theater. I still get goosebumps when I hear it. John Williams created the score for the ages with the Superman March!
A fitting tribute to Richard Donner, to late Christopher Reeve, late Margot Kidder, late Marlone Brando and the stellar cast of Superman 1978. I will shiver if this is Man of Steel theme from Hans Zimmerman
The greatest theme for a superhero ever and nothing comes close, Christopher Reeve will always be my Superman and no one has stepped up to the plate !!
You have a certain appreciation when you watch an orchestra perform a familiar and iconic piece of music, and watch how each individual with their musical instruments hit upon certain notes and how it's visually broken down. Fantastic job!
Saya seorang millennial (kelahiran antara 81-96), tapi saya paham akan Christopher Reeves, paman saya dulu punya banyak action figure, poster sama dvdnya.
The crowd kinda sitting there looking disinterested. I would be smiling ear to ear when they started playing this! When I watched Superman as a kid, I use to rewind the VHS tape over and over at the ending listening to this!💗
This is an ignorant comment . If the audience were in the dark , they would look more ,as you call, “interested. “ But the whole place was lit , the audience ‘ expression is how it should be . I’m glad all you can do is listen to this on your vhs. You don’t deserve to be in the audience .
This is why I enjoy the music of John Williams. From The Star Wars saga to Superman, Raiders of the lost Ark, ET, etc, he , from the beginning, sets the right tone, that tells the story in each film. Bravo Maestro Williams!
Love this. Not only this is always a pleasure to hear this theme, but knowing they finally gave Superman back his iconic suit and legendary trunks in Action comics 1000, it truly puts a smile on my face ☺
This music is unforgettable if you believe in truth, Justice and the American way like Superman did. It looks as though the audience lacks enough imagination to get caught up the music.. Christopher Reeves was our first and most impressionable Superman. I avoided the other Superman movies until I saw the previews for Superman returns. Then I watched the movie. Brandon Routh is unforgettable as Superman. Why because he was required to deal with heartbreak and disappointment. He showed vulnerability without appearing weak. Love is our greatest strength. He loved Lois no matter what happened. He was disabled by kyptonite and managed to survive because Lois made a choice. He portrayed a great Superman. Watch the film and see for yourself.
This song throughs a chill up and down my spine every time I hear it and it always will I just picture Christopher Reeve opening his shirt and taking off from a dead run right to the air
The opening part of this Superman theme, you can just imagine Kal el as a baby being sent off by his parents to planet Earth from Krypton & eventually changing scene of him finally reaching Earth, being found by his Earth parents where he crash landed, being able to lift a vehicle as a baby to their shock & amazement. Thereafter transitioning as the teenage farm boy Clark Kent helping his Earth parents while living happily in the countryside, wondering why he can run like a speed of bullet & jump past trains before it can hit him... Then changing scene of him visiting his destroyed planet Krypton & discovering his real origins & TRUE identity & now being able to FLY (for the 1st time) back to Earth... Then the next scene is a busy city street setting where there enters mild-mannered Clark Kent walking on his way to work at The Daily Planet & sensing there was nearby trouble, enters a phone booth & rip opens his shirt showing the iconic Superman logo & flying off to save a crashing helicopter in front of a skyscraper & rescuing just in time the passenger who fell, that was LOIS LANE aka Margot Kidder (may her soul also rest in peace)... JOB WELL DONE Christopher Reeve... YOU OWN & EARNED this BEAUTIFUL Superman theme. It was SPECIALLY MADE FOR YOU & YOURS alone... BIGGEST SALUTE to you!!! FLY HIGH UP IN THE SKY TO HEAVEN... 💖💖💖🙏🙏🙏 #RIPChrisReeve
