100% agree with everything you're saying here. I already told my wife a year ago, I wasn't interested in paying to see this movie. It looks like now, I might never care to see it, even in passing.

At this point this movie is basically "Superman and the Justice Leaque" yet its called "Superman: Legacy" as if its all about superman. Should've just made Man Of Steel 2 with brainiac. Also Gunn's universe is DOA wouldn't be suprised if most of the projects get canceled. I like the idea of "Brave And The Bold" it'd be nice to see the bat-family we can't even get Robin usually, but not if flush's director is on. The suit is also padded, Henry didn't need the padding, and it also looks obvious. Looks like Superman CW, except Superman&Lois was better having moved away from it mostly (and of course it had to end as it can't undermine Gunn's crapola).

The Corensweat suit is just embarrassing. It looks horrible.

I’m so indifferent to comic book movies as a whole. Shared universes, multiverses, sky portals, cgi armies, etc etc I’m done! Same old crap.

Once we see this new Superman in action, then we can give a real reaction. But as of now, this suit is less than thrilling. And with a supposed large budget, I have to ask, where is the money going? I hope this doesn’t turn out to be ‘mid’ like Superman Returns. I liked that one, but didn’t love it. Man of Steel and that universe is still being discussed, either good or bad. Judging by past performance by Gunn, I fear for dumb jokes at the expense of Superman. I hope not.

How difficult is it to create a cool suit? This super-suit is far from it...and comes nowhere near the greatness of Henry Cavill's new generation suit. This new-ish suit is nothing more than an MCU rehashed pajama party costume, it's a bunched up and heavily creased tracksuit, this actor ( poor bloody bastard ) had a chance to be part of an illustrious heritage related to the world's first and greatest superhero known to mankind, and they give him this pathetic attempt at a memorable and functional Superman suit, he's also worked his arse off building muscle mass and what for?, there's no muscle definition in sight. Trunks!...trunks!, it looks like he's wearing adult diapers under those ill fitted comical red shorts. Both my beloved Superman and beloved Star Wars are falling to bits before my eyes, WHY?, because the wrong , talentless morons are making all the decisions and they're ruining legacies, reputations and nostalgia for everyone, and instead of listening to the fans they're either insulting us or doubling down on their arrogant and incompetent decisions. I am a huge Superman fan. My favorite superhero, and with that said that suit and the actor look like a very bad and cheesy cosplay. The Henry Cavill costume with no underwear and belt was the modern Superman that we needed, looks wise. Now I think Henry was serviceable as Superman, but a lot of things could have been done better in Man of Steel. What James Gunn is trying to do is pay homage to the past, but this is the worst looking Superman costume that I have ever seen. It doesn't matter how much post-production they have to do to make him look good. It is not going to work. Nothing against the actor, but its James Gunn's fault on this.

I hate the suit. It looks a Halloween costume. Why does it look like he's wearing Kevlar? He's bulletproof! It doesn't look like it fits him. It's so baggy. I heard people argue it was done like that to allow Corensweat more movement and it will be made more form-fitting in post production. I agree with that I’m completely checked out of DC. I have zero interest in anything they have to offer. Especially how dirty they did Cavill after announcing his return only to reboot and make him look like a complete idiot. Henry was perfect! I don’t trust Gunn and it’s showing with all of his online antics and lies. He also can’t do a solo movie to save his life. He has to have a ensemble of the quirky corny characters to carry his film. I’ll pass on anything he has to offer.

The main issue with the suit isn't necessarily the complete design itself. It's the material. Looks to plasticky. The caller should not be there. And the boots just look weird. If they fixed those issues I'm sure that the suit would look decent although I prefer the classic Superman s and not the Kingdom Come Superman s

It feels like everyone has completely made up their mind on it and the usual subjects are all of course either blindly praising everything or hate on every single bit, neither camps have any tolerance for mixed feelings. The "comparing" came after the initial reactions to seeing the new suit. If it was more fitting and crafted around David's physique better, it would have been miles better than what we have now. After over a decade, they've gone lazy in suit production since MOS. The suit does not compliment David's physique in any way. This, is the complaint. The main complaint.

My response has been pretty consistent. I still don't care for the S-shield design, but it's easily overlook-able if the film is good. I'm also one of the five people on the planet who thinks the one good thing the New 52 did was remove the trunks from Superman's outfit, so there's a little disappointment there. My only real problem in these photos is Corenswet himself gives me the same vibes as those old Superman-The Movie Outtakes where Salkind's wife's dentist tried out; I just don't see *_Superman_* there. I also have the same bad vibes people had about Michael Keaton's casting as Batman, in that Gunn's work hasn't done much to convince me he can do something that isn't "quirky" from top to bottom. Hope I'm as wrong as they were back then. I will say that if they were emulating the MCU, we'd have started out with a grounded, solo Superman or Batman film that took its character seriously, even if there was natural humor throughout it.

I just want a good Superman movie that actually respects the character and what he stands for. I'm tired of movies deconstructing his character. I’m very excited for this movie. So far, I’m happy with the way everything is going. Love the suit with trunks and yellow S on the cape and the vibrant colors of the suit. The only real problem I have with this reveal is the suit looks very loose fitting, but other than that, everything looks good. All I care about is for this movie to successfully hit the theaters. I don’t care how bad the box office might be for this film, I just want it to be good for once. That’s all I can say.

I think they’re trying to turn David Corenswet’s Clark Kent into Christopher Reeve’s Bumbling Clark Kent In my opinion the bumbling act and that version of Clark belongs to Christopher Reeve in the Donnerverse Superman film series and if your rebooting Superman you shouldn’t have an actor do what Christopher Reeve what did with his Clark all actors that portray Clark Kent on screen should be different not copying Christopher Reeve
