Very smart of Clark to realize that if this being is his opposite, that the beneficial type of kryptonite to people here would be harmful to Bizarro. Also, we see that when Clark doesn't hold back he can beat anyone, even himself.
Yes I was very happy with this episode, it's about time they show us the Superman that we all love in the comics but he still has a lot of redeeming to do since he did get his ass beat by Supergirl in that god-awful garbage show that I am very happy is now canceled
What I love most of all about this version of bizarro (and the bizarro world in general) is that he doesn't say the opposite of what he means but instead says what is normally competent grammar but in reverse. For me at least, this lets me take him more seriously as a character.
@@jakegreenhill7208 Yeah, many of the writers for tv and movies forget that Superman is supposed to be intelligent as well as strong. He's just not the underhanded kind of intelligent like Lex Luther
I mean, he didn’t even have to. Clark was clearly much stronger than Bizarro. The way they showed the latter flying into beams of yellow sunlight in slow-mo illustrates this.
I can't voice just how absolutely amazing this show is. It's hands down my fav superhero show. Every episode is movie quality. It doesn't make sense a show this good would be a part of the arrow verse, with lesser quality shows like the flash
With heat vision(laser) you can pinpoint where it should go and more father, than Ice. But breathing fire wont go father nor hit a certain point. So i think superman's powers are better.
Originally in the comics, Superman's foe Bizarro was created by Lex Luthor. The imperfect duplicate of the Man of Steel had the same powers as him, but in the year 1976 when something altered his powers, turning heat vision into cold vision and cold breath into flame breath.
To be fair, it's a simple concept to understang but a hard thing to practice for most. Just look at the MMA fighters. Tons of experience, but most often than not ends up eating the punches thrown at them.
@@zacksilverstone7642 nothing is hard for superman bro he have super everything strength reflex agility even brain he learned every language of earth and he was trained in combat by batman it's not hard it's a choice of himself even batman said that Superman count too much on his power
@@michelzawarudo6454 The extent of this Superman's powers haven't been defined yet, but for a long time Superman had no formal combat training, just getting by on experience and natural talent.
@@danieldickson8591 in weekned state he beat like ten trained soldiers without much trouble he's clearly well trained in combat and he is super since decades now he obviously have fought many battle and have more experience than any human being
The Costume Designer(s) for *Superman & Lois* deserve an award!!! Bizzaro's outfit is ON POINT, and even Superman's costume has grown on me over time. I once took issue with the muscle padding, but it works quite well onscreen. *These are NOT easily translatable costume designs, by the way!!!* Most recent Superman costumes look quite silly and goofy in live-action format. This latest version *DOES NOT.*
Supergirl Bizzaro was man made in Superman and Lois there is a mirror world and it’s Bizzaro Superman’s world, cool. I like that Superman’s mother is the A.I that is helping him with some of his missions. It’s been Jor-El for so many years, it’s nice in this version of Superman there switching things up. I guess in this version of Superman I guess the Bizzaro is weak against X-Kryptonite in Supergirl I think they made blue kryptonite to stop Bizzaro Supergirl. The visual effects were great too😊😊😊
I actually think Earth-Prime Superman is stronger than Earth-38 Superman. Like having a family made him stronger. In Supergirl she beat him but I think if that happened with this Superman he'd beat her.
To be fair, giving a man a family he truly loves from the bottom of his heart automatically gives him *All-Round Stats Buff.* The Power of Family my dude.
She knocked him unconscious while he was under the influence of Silver Kryptonite. If he subconsciously he knew what was going on. He held back more then he already was. It's not like she curbstomped him while he was going all out. Also Supergirl isn't a weakling either. She's an adult women who spent years doing the same work her cousin was doing. She was also fully in control of her mind. It would be different if it was a teenager whose had powers for a months.
@@DesignIncase No, Kara did curbstomp him while he was going all out. He was trying to end her and she won. He even made repeated statements afterwards that she's stronger and he wasn't holding back. Supergirl went the girl power route and made her his superior.
If he is Superman's opposite, and Superman gets his strength and powers from the yellow sun but loses them with the red Sun then how is Bizarro able to go toe-to-toe Superman shouldn't the yellow sun take away his powers
My theory is while Superman loses his powers under a red sun and increases under a blue one, Bizarro would be the opposite of that I guess. Weak under blue but stronger under a red sun. And yellow could just be the common medium for them both. But I'm sure somewhere in the comics it's already been explained.
Now this is the Superman we remember. Holding back all the time but toying his oppoents when he is being serious. Same actor plays completely different feelings when he is in Supergirl.
The fact that I have only like one or two very minor nitpicks about this clip when normally with cw shows I like have 126 per episode, is honestly really impressive.
Superman was punching him away so far because he's not holding back his true strength he's stronger but he holds back this time he's not holding back his true strength.
God I am comparing clips to this and man of steel..and even though Man of steel has a bit more polish..it practically feels the same!! but for me the story telling is far superior in this series
It has been a while since I've seen a dc show. The CG actually looks really good in this. Last one was black lightning. And the effects there can be pretty bad at points
I hear their was too much dialogue in the show. That's why I haven't watched it..but this scene is making me want to check it out lol. I'm hardly interested in movies or TV shows anymore as most is just distractions from reality but superman always hit home for me. Smallville was so good growing up.
imagine if everyone tried to break into its mind and it was simply tasked with guarding powerful knowledge..... and every last one of you abused it, tried to kill it, believed it didn't deserve "free will" when it was smarter than every last one of you, and stronger too.
The creator of the show uses the budget more efficiently, explains why last season had better CGI than this season, because he spent most of the budget in the Supermam v Bizzaro fight scene.
@@therealmistahjay Additionally how the shots are set up are more thought out. The Flash suffers too much from "Well fix it in post" and being too dependent on CGI when they shouldnt.
