I am only familiar with Bizarro from Injustice 2 and from the animated series. It's weird seeing him talking in full sentences with the vocabulary of an average adult.
He actually not true bizzaro , he is inverse superman in a way. In his earth everything is spoken in reverse once that's sorted out and they can understand him its reveled he is not a lunatic. He has same intelligence as E prime superman. His appearance is bizzare because of the fact that he is an addict of green Kryptonite which Amps up his powers and taking it on regular instances has deformed him
I'm a little upset no one in the comments talking about the fact his energy prison he is in, has a spinning ring design like the one that General Zod was housed in at his trial in the first superman movie.
@Ordonity Not simple. Sensitive! If he were simple he wouldn’t even be capable of being upset over it because he likely couldn’t grasp it! Seems like your inability to use the right word exposes the fact that you are the Simpleton!
The spinning rings were a brilliant idea. Nice nod to the 1978 movie. Yes, that was a long time ago, but not all Superman fans are little kids. Some are old like me, or just appreciate the classics.
CW has always thrown established characterization put the window; Green Arrow becoming batman, supergirl becoming superman, black canary becoming not black canary, the whole fiasco of batwoman, and now Bizzaro becoming a different version of a kryptonian instead of Lex Luther's failed clone
Actually he usually speaks in gibberish and grunts. (or reverse i can’t remember) superman’s holographic mom (Zod’s version of solitude) translated his speech so superman and zod could understand him
This is the most original version of Bizarro in any form of media: the story of a superhero/celebrity who learns the cost of fame can have on his family and himself. Also, Ween, great songs. Thank you, S&L for getting me into listening to their great sound.
I just couldn't get over that used the verse that goes "could you smell my whole... Life." Ween is usually dirty and vulgar and that line is supposed to sound like "could you smell my hole" which just took me tf out lol
I think the Soldiers he was fighting might of had enhanced strength and durability, while the girl in the suit had the full kryptonian package obviously... Edit: The soldiers had yellow lights at the ends of their guns, yellow sunlight flashlights? Could explain their being able to fight him like that, since yellow sunlight weaken Bizzaro
Also in the scene that mirrors this with Clark they have red sun bulbs overhead while trying to take him in so there’s that too. I honestly just want the show to come back already hahahaha
i loved the cosmic horror of this season. the way that one of the biggest signs of the oncoming danger was a second, cubic sun in the sky. it’s lovecraftian. super cool.
Hopefully this doesn't ruin anything for anyone watching season 3, but the people organizing this series are geniuses! To explain: if you see the otherworldly suit Bizarro uses to travel to another earth, it's taken right from The Death Of Superman (2019). Yet in season 3 Bizarro turns into Doomsday. In The Death Of Superman (2019), Doomsday comes to earth in that same exact suit. It's brilliant they took a page from an animated movie into live action!
Doomsday actually came to Earth in that suit in the original Death of Superman comic book from 1993. Either way, it is a really good subversion of expectations. Another call back that I like is that by having Bizarro turn into Doomsday, they're somewhat referencing his origin in the Justice League Unlimited cartoon. In the cartoon, multiple attempts were made to clone Superman, the first being Bizarro and the second being Doomsday.
Hopefully not but you may be right. If only they ditched the facial hair, got a better voice &, a more slightly more Vampiric/Undead Zombie esque look (though they tried & did good), it'd be pretty perfect.
@@nisshoku1568 No problem they have a lot of good songs: the Argus, the Argus pt2, transdermal celebration, the mollusk, and many, many more. The ones I listed kind of give off a similar vibe to tried and true
@@heydiahrea I can see, I actually already started listening to some of them because I wanted to see if that had anymore good ones. I think they're going on my rock band playlist.
I feel like most of the people complaining about bizarro speaking normal in the comment section have only played injustice and watched the cartoons so let me tell y’all that in the comics (the source material) there are multiple versions of bizarro including one that can speak normally. This bizarro talks in reverse but inhales kryptonite to empower him and make him smarter, and also they put him in an isolated place to understand him better
I don't mind them changing certain things in the Superman lore. Just cause it's old doesn't always mean it's good. I like this reimagining of bizarro. The original was cringe. I always found it campy and stupid and I'm 65 years old. This show's writers have real talent and care about the IP. The characters are mostly logical and the only thing I miss is Kara Zorel should be here. NOT the goody goody shallow CW version but the "real" Kara from DC comics.
@@breezy3392 I've liked Supergirl since the early 70s. Best incarnation of Supergirl was Kara In-Zee from Superman the animated series and Justice League Unlimited.
I’m still waiting for a Bizarro who speaks like Grant Morrison’s version. Where it’s really about finding the exact opposite of every single word in a sentence. “Bizarro Flash am not early with match to not launch useless rocket ship.”
reminds me of the stranger things upside down dimension. One of those creepy mirror worlds which I always want to see more of even though it's basically a dead version of our world.
So let me get this straight. Those soldiers came in carrying guns, promptly dropped them and started a fist fight instead. Why the fuck did they have guns in the first place?
@@frankbarron1907 If it's not going to be used, don't have it in the first place, give them some special fist guards or something instead, then not only does it make sense to have them engage in melee, it also plays into the cool factor.
if you learn to love what you have then when you lose it you will never say to yourself idoms like 'you don't know what you've got untill its gone' because you let yourself fully appreciate what was once there and therefore there is nothing left to miss. that's how i feel about this tv show.
I love how Bizarro is insisting that Clark kill Ally despite having the chance to do it himself and not taking it. He's a complete hypocrite, almost like he's Clark's opposite...
At 1:23 you can clearly see the overhead "yellow energy" lights as well as the the "yellow energy" flashlights they had attached to their weapons weakens this inverse Superman.
I'm pretty lost. Where was "superboy" during this, and why isn't Ally dead in the new episode? It's pretty clear here that bizarro killed her and came to E prime to stop her counterpart, but she's alive and well in the new episode. It's also weird that he claims he was a soldier, but he was actually a celebrity
@@chriswentz5197 As a matter of fact: Robert Pattinson Batman is now going to be the official batman of the DC cinematic universe. so he's going to eventually meet up with Rebooted DCEU flash, Wonder Woman, Superman, Aquaman the works. So yeah, he's not staying in the "could happen irl" place for long
So what I'm not following is that Bizarro clearly killed his world's version of Ally Alston yet she is shown to be fine later on. I don't buy that "She was on K" when Bizarro attacked her. She didn't show any signs she was and was clearly not able to even attempt to stop Bizarro.
He likely didnt kill her. That looked more like a hard slap. He probably didnt kill her because he did not want his popularity sinking any further in his world. Which is also why he went through the trouble of flying through the portal to the other world just so that no one would stop him from destroying that magic stone.
Since you’ve only played injustice and watched the cartoons let me tell you that in the comics (the source material) there are multiple versions of bizarro including one that can speak normally. This bizarro talks weird but inhales kryptonite to empower him and make him smarter.
