Hyourinjutsu This is unrealistic because the Sun should've been a million times bigger than the spirit bomb,goku and Superman so I disagree but I still like the battle even if it was untealistic

A serious Goku would murder Vegeta that s why. Goku has too many dirty tricks he spared to use when fighting Vegeta. Solar Flare + Destructo disk is of of them.
@@VarietySeth Beerus has dirty tricks as well, and as much hax or more than Goku, but with more raw power. The fight will not be enjoyable for Goku. The most enjoyable fight for Goku, I believe was when he fough Piccolo at the age 19. Both are nearly at equal power levels, both used and spent all their dirty tricks and techniques and haxes: trash talking, feet kamehameha, turning giant, manipulation, homing missile energy balls, play dead, etc. At the end, both Goku's legs and arms were broken, lung punctured, and Piccolo was literally an inch from the grave. That was BRUTAL! If Gohan watch the battle I believe he would get a heart attack. Two of his most beloved people are killing each other. After Frieza saga, the battle basically strength vs strength, no fun anymore. If Dragon Ball Super fans watch the battle, they would be shocked lol.
Well, kinda, the whole spirit bomb rising from a hole was from GT, and absorbing the spirit bomb was from super 13, but it Looks and technically could be ultra instinct in a weird way!
@@wellingtonafonsodecarvalho9842 Why would he listen though? Goku just started attacking him out of nowhere and openly showed he didn't care about all the damage their fight was causing. It's only natural Superman would think he's either crazy, a villain, or, even if Goku did explain the wishes, some kind of sociopath, since even if all the damage is undone at the end he's still killing BILLIONS of people just to get a good fight.
I love how accurate and lore friendly this is to both characters, it highlights their personality and their actions based on those personal traits, Goku's ability to adapt to his opponent in mear seconds and find and exploit weaknesses, Superman's high morality and always holding back, which would be a more realistic encounter between these two characters who are highly driven because of their personality and not just their power. Excellent. Still one of the best animations on RU-vid.
Vuubik I mean what’s the point in preserving anything if everything’s going back to how it was, I assume Shenron has that power, but Superman may not have known what Goku was talking about. To Goku, this was a sparring match, to Superman, this was the life or death of the universe.
Hyourinjutsu: people always put goku and superman up against each other, I think I'm going too reasonably make them fight and see which one would win if it was a serious death match! Death battle: what you all want goku vs superman? OK whatever superman wins because he's existed longer, btw, what's a timeline?
@DISCORD I mean to be fair Death Battle doesn’t know how to count in the first place when in one of the videos it said Goku super Saiyan 1 or 2 speed was half of his base.
I feel like it's forgotten that Goku is a martial artist and literally one of the best of all times. I feel like goku could really defeat most mortal things if he really applied his techniques more.
Martial arts is something that is not touched since classic dragon ball and superman has his fair share of combat knowledge, in any case, he would be fatigued by using his techniques more times instead of thinking rationally.

Look at the world tournament arc..He is able to fight with all types of warriors and this is as a kid. There is no version of Superman that is more adept in martial arts than Goku. @PETER PAN Hey, goku went to the moon when he was still a kid mate with nothing more then a power poll and three people he sent there. So, don't give us that saiyan's cant breath in space crap. It quite serious up to if toriyama had his tea in the early morning or not.
As a Superman fan, even i can appreciate how this was done. Goku using strategy rather than just trying to overpower Superman, and Superman not holding back because of the threat Goku was to the whole universe. However because Goku entrusted Shenron to reset everything back to the way they were BEFORE the fight, there was no need to hold back. Goku allowed himself to go completely all out: ascending with each super saiyan transformation, absorbing Ki from every planet in the universe, blowing up the Sun, using ki, god ki, kaio ken, and his own life force as energy to blast Superman. This is how Goku vs. Superman was suppose to be, and even though Wiz and Boomstick did try their hardest with all the research, they still overestimated Superman while underestimating Goku. Goku may not be brilliant, but he is instinct prone and as he ascends with each transformation, his instincts become sharpened. Goku may have limits, but that still doesn't stop him from trying to go further beyond. As he have said, "Everything has a limit." But he has also proven that limits can be broken.

Superman vs Goku: *Death Battle makes two videos* Hyourinjutsu: Lemme show how it's done. (BEAAAAUTIFUL job done btw. Loved how you managed to keep all of Goku's transformations and ablities to line with Supes as best as you could, and how close the matchup really is. Really could've gone either way, but I love it regardless. Keep being a legend.) And most of all you shown the deepest respect to both of these characters by making go to there all, showing who they really are to not only their own select verse, but to each other, and making the remark of respecting each other in the end. This is millions times better than any fight I've seen on Death Battle.

@@Unique.reactions Goku wouldn't exist without DC and Superman, as Superman predates him, by literally DECADES. Marvel has the amazing publicity of a very successful movie franchise and has been struggling to surpass DC in comic books sales for over two decades and the Eisners also beg to differ... So, you can't be more wrong, on both accounts.
I like how you made Goku convert his life force to raw energy, because that is actually a Dragon Ball technique, like what Tien did against Cell with the Neo-Tribeam, and Tien was leagues weaker than Cell but was able to stall him for hours on end by converting his own lifeforce into energy to use against Cell, which makes sense in this instance as Goku would have no other way to survive against the Super Flare, but by stalling Superman out until he's drained, Goku can take a decisive victory that way.
I know comedy isnt your thing, but I am imagining shenron boggle eyed like. "You want me to what?" "You said you'd fix it!" "I DIDN'T EXPECT YOU TO BLOW UP THE SUN YOU FRUIT BASKET."
While I do feel Superman should've won, I like that the animation seemed mostly impartial rather than making one of the characters look like a joke in the way that most people do. Truly an outstanding animation with a good story to back it up. Definitely one of the gems of RU-vid

Yeah but I have no idea why a 20 ton difference makes Goku noticably faster at all, when this Goku is like duodecillions of times faster and stronger than Saiyan saga Piccolo in base, who could blow up the moon with a wrist flick in about 4 on-screen seconds.
It’s so refreshing to see goku get an W against Superman. (And no I’m not an Goku fan) either one of them could defeat one of the other depending on which version.
Personally as someone who rlly likes superman i loved this fight even though goku won it had a reason for victory that made sense and portrayed superman's character accurately for the most part 10/10 good animation

This fight was amazing. I love the DCU and Dbz/Dbs and this was just a perfect blend of the 2. It also really goes to show how far Goku will go to win if he knows there's truly no consequences

I love Hyourinjutsu's work but... Nah, not really. Both characters felt incredibly out of character in this story. It's still an amazing piece of work but still wouldn't call it better than Goku vs Superman 3, although it is better than 1 & 2
Even it isn't clear how strong Saitama is, for all we know his strength could be limitless. The guy doesn't seem to ever take much damage post his training to become a hero, kind of difficult to measure it up against anyone since we don't know his limits.

Hmm, even without the Sun, Superman can keep his powers for days or months, depending on the version. Your body not only absorbs but also stores indefinite amounts of solar energy. And solar radiation is just one key to activating Kryptonian powers. Also, the sun isn't the only source of power for Superman. He has already shown himself capable of absorbing other types of energy (spiritual, cosmic, even simply electricity). I see a good chance of it absorbing Goku's Ki attacks.
I'm not sure about indefinite amounts of solar energy. Superman certainly has backup stores, but if he had indefinite, he would've never lost to Doomsday or Darkseid or anyone else. He would literally never stop fighting because he could never run out of energy. It's been proven hundreds of times that Superman can be worn down into submission, so that statement is untrue. After Goku destroyed the sun, Superman was on a mission to find another star at some point, but he now had to deal with SSJ4, one of Goku's most powerful forms that drains very little stamina. Goku still had all of his God ki left, while Superman was running empty now having to fight a much stronger Goku. Superman was wise to have lasted as long as he did from that point on, but Goku's relationship with Genki allowed him to pull energy from his own spirit. Goku had the trump card, while Superman's just fell short of finishing Goku. Even if Superman made a break for it to fly to another solar system, Goku's instant transmission is far faster. He could keep Superman pinned to that area. If Superman continues to persist, Goku has other techniques like the Mafuba to seal Superman away. Superman's main advantage was his ridiculous durability, but Goku has far higher tenacity, energy control, and actual skill in combat. I placed my money on Goku from the start, and if we use current Goku for a rematch, the gap would only widen immeasurably.
The problem with this fight fundament is that a million different supermen can be referenced for superman's capabilities while Goku has movie variations, tv and manga only. If a specific Superman is selected for the fight, people would get mad and act like it's not the best one so it doesn't count. A problem with Goku is that he has to cycle through his forms for the spectacle and even then, his latest form is never enough because Superman is just infinitely strong while looking normal.
@@kinkykink5235 To be honest, neither character is all that interesting to me. I'd rather see a fight between Majin Buu and Doomsday, or Baby and Loki. The points you made are also true. Any time Superman is argued, fans just bring up the most overpowered of comic book feats, creating this unstoppable abomination that feels nowhere near the Superman we see 90% of the time. Any time Goku is argued, fans keep vying for dozens of forms of exponentially increasing strength, some of which feel like asspulls by the end of the fight. I legitimately want to see a fight between like, Cell Saga Goku and JL Superman. Just a basic, average Goku vs average Superman. No excessive forms, no excessive feats. That way, the creator has to focus on the specific skills, mindsets, tactics, and attributes each character possesses, actually playing to their strengths for once. Is that so hard to ask?

They become cosmetic changes as an excuse to show he has the upper hand for a moment, while a pillar of strength like Superman bides it until Goku transforms again inevitably. I too think it's important to bookmark specific iterations of these characters if they're going to be debated.
Hayato Byakurai not exactly, in a movie goku used genkidama against android 13 but turned super sayan and absorbed the genkidama. Its not Canon, but neither was broly sooooo.
This fight was amazing although there is one fight I’m interested now that I’ve seen all your videos, Goku Black VS Injustice Super-man. I know it’s kinda pushing it but this would make it more interesting, would the results be the same? Or completely different? Would Goku Black be the victor or would injustice super man win because he doesn’t hold back? Honestly this could go either way but it would be epic to see.
Injustice Superman would be steamrolled by Goku Black. With his regime doing all the work, he grows extremely complacent and grows soft (in a sense,) to where he loses some of his strength. That's why normal Superman comes in and wipes the floor with him. It would be the same outcome if GB fought him.

If Superman is strong as a human on his home planet with a red sun... then no sun should of made Superman so weak that just 1 punch from Goku would make Superman break and die. Also if anyone has watched Supergirl on Netflix then you would know she would die in space and Supergirl is stronger than Superman too. Superman should of died when he flew into space since in Supergirl... she can't survive in space if you've watched all 5 seasons of Supergirl.

You saying superman can’t breathe in space because super girl can’t on her show. Superman has flown in space MANY times and that really shouldn’t be a debate. Super girl can breathe in space too. She’s done so LANY times. That shouldn’t be a debate either. If you’re going off of the show super girl then you’re using one of the most nerfed superman and making him fight goku at his strongest. Superman and super girl once flew in space so fast that superman “broke the bonds of infinity”. This was so much better than Death Battle's Goku vs Superman video. Though I honestly couldn't care less about the victor, since I enjoy both characters.
Despite the outcome of the battle, Superman was still stronger in the end despite Goku's victory. Super Flare Superman completely overpowered Super Saiyan Blue Goku at full power. Plus, it was smart for once for Goku to use Superman's weaknesses because the Goku we all know would very most likely let Superman keep going stronger because he wants his opponent to be stronger, just like what happened in Death Battle, typical Saiyan's hunger for battle. Had Goku never destroyed the sun, Superman would have eventually overpowered Goku even without Super Flare.
Killer Queen no, his new form was not him simply absorbing the spirit bomb, the reason that form happened was because he was scared of his universe getting erased because he would have died. Hence the name ultra instinct, its called that because of the reason I just explained to you. That's my theory anyways.

Bloodshot Mars52 you’re on the right track. But holy absorbs the spirit bomb and that acts as the boost he needed to ascend to the next level which is ultra instinct. It’s a state of heightened senses. Literally the state is it’s name. That’s why he was able to fight Jiren toe to toe for a few moments before he lost it. Jax blade does a good rundown on what ultra instinct is.
I love how the animators got both Superman and Goku's personality well. And I love how the winner won by a hair. I will not give my calculation and bias, but THANK YOU guys for respecting both characters, and that DESERVES RESPECTS ! You got yourself a subscriber!

That's an incredibly common password that would be super (pun intended) easy to guess, not to mention that a password cracking program would be able to brute-force it in under a second due to it being an actual word. How? there was no ultra instinct in this video, Super Saiyan Blue was his last form then he went back to normal. His hair looks whiteish but it's clearly blue plus the avatar logo on the bottom shows Super Saiyan Blue.
GamJam Prop GamJam Prop he is not. Thats a hollow statement made from a Superman fanboy that does not understand that Goku is the dumbass Lord for evrything but fighting. While Superman randomly punches and does not know a fighting style (dont even get me started with the kryptonian martial arts, since he never uses them). Goku is smarter in fighting than Superman, and theres no place to argue that- or rather say, not when you bring it up just because you would like Superman to be better in fighting, while the Truth is that Goku will, regardless of power, always be more skilled than Superman, and that for the sole fact that Superman has never learnt how to fight properly/he never does, while most of Goku's life has been training and training. That also brings up the fact how Superman has always been given with as much strength as the writters want him to, and is powerless without a sun that is constantly giving him power, while Goku has always workes hard to improve and to get stronger and better, and all by his own power. And if you say "well guess what Goku depends on Ki" well he does not. A Kid Goku tanked bullets when he did not even know the concept of ki, and he got thousands (literally) of times stronger than that from back then to the Frieza Saga, where power levels are still a legit thing. And Ki does not run out as fast as people think, nor does SSB have an ammount of energy drain as great as some people claim, since Goku and Vegeta have proved to be able to maintain the form with no difficulties, specially in the final battle versus Black and Zamasu, in which they even were knocked out of SSB, and then just reentered it like nothing (and they were able to use their full power in SSB because it had been a while since they had activated the forms, so the energy lost in the 1st Transformation was already regained.
Because in here full of db fans and the youtuber are db fans too, so if goku win there's no debate. If you go to community "vs battle" you will found out goku will lose against superman ( even if composite )
You mean the one from a dying planet and founded in a spaceship as a baby by a human that later fight his own race and protect his new home planet with other earthlings and aliens?
not really. saiyan instinct is to destroy the opponent no matter what. This is shown with bardock and goku While he was a decent person, when he turned super saiyan they both turned hyper aggressive. Goku stopped using martial arts against freiza and went for brutal attacks and bardock savagely beat chilled. After they get angry enough, saiyans throw all reservations out the window. not to mention the ozaru which are mindless destroyers.
Goku has gone full savage before though. Just because a dog isnt trained to bite doesn't mean the dog wont get mad and bite you anyway. As Ive said before, When saiyans get pissed they stop careing.
This battle was simly breathtaking and showed respect to both characters, Goku the invincible fighter and Kal-El of Krypton a.k.a Superman, the protector of life. The only thing that ruins it are whinning, annoying fanboys of both characters, bitchinf in comments and arguying over meaningless crap.
