39:11 Actually in Judeo Christian times, the frankincense and myrrh would have been worth exponentially more than an equal amount of gold. The gold was likely the least valuable thing offered at the nativity. Perfumes and tree resins that could be burnt and smell good were some of the most valuable things a person could own in the ancient world. There's a reason that people got mad at Mary magdelene for using expensive perfume to wash Jesus' feet. It would have been extremely expensive. Likely close to multiple months wages or even yearly income
