How to make a super moist and velvety Orange Loaf cake that melts in your mouth. Hello darlings! If you loved my Lemon Loaf Cake, here's the orange version that is equally moist and velvety. Hope you'll give this a try. Please let me know if you did in the comment section. Thank you darlings!
Here's what you'll need:
1 and 1/2 cup sugar (300g)
2 tablespoons orange zest
3/4 cup softened butter (170g) unsalted
3 tbsps clear oil (45ml)
3 large eggs
1/4 cup fresh orange juice (60ml)
1 tsp vanilla extract (5ml)
2 and 1/4 cup all purpose flour (280g)
1 tbsp baking powder (10g)
1 tsp salt (5g)
1/2 cup whole milk (125ml)
ORANGE GLAZE:
1/2 cup icing or powdered sugar (75g)
3 tbsps orange juice
-Please note: All ingredients must be in room temperature :)

All I have are tangerines! I made the lemon one a month ago and omg I had to make 2 more for my adult kids. Except my glaze comes out runny even though I use the exact measurements, so I’ll try less squeezed tangerine juice this time . I’m so excited waiting for butter to soften as I comment

Perhaps try reducing the temperature and the baking time as every oven works differently.. you can also try lining the sides of the pan with a damp towel or even use a lighter coloured pan... 😊

Perhaps try combining juice or milk additionally until the batter's consistency looks like the consistency shown in the video... I often do this with my cake batters.. And measure the amount of extra liquid you added for an ULTIMATE 🍊POUND CAKE afterwards.... 😊
