Supernatural 1x3 REACTION!! "Dead in the Water" 

It's been sooooo long since I've watched Season 1, I've forgotten just how scary it is!

I finally decided to watch Supernatural after watching your first reaction. Now, I'm about to start season 5 episode 17. thank you for kickstarting my addiction. =D

This is actually one of my favorite SPN episodes ever. It's the first episode that shows the actual depth of Dean.

I kind of like how they started the whole thing, You know, starting the main plot point but using it as a motivator for going on a vague information hunt following the trail of their dad, being as a quite normal series of self-contained mystery/horror stories with all kinds of different creatures based on different north-american or general myths and legends. It's kind of cool if a series ´doesn't go 100% right from the bat but has a good and solid foundation with lots of self-contained stories before getting in the gist of the bigger overall plot. Watching this really makes me nostalgic of the early days of supernatural.

Amy Acker will always be Winifred to me. Man I fucking miss Angel.

Was so happy when Amy Acker made an appearance. She was awesome in Angel and subsequent Whedon projects.

Calvin-It *was* the cabin that Shawn and Gus went to in Psych! That location has also been used in X-Files. They all filmed in Vancouver. :)

Barely started these reactions. And as much as it’s cool that ya’ll recognized the Psych location, I wanted Eric to notice the names Dean gave her. Agents Ford and Hamill. Especially wearing that Star Wars shirt.

Fun fact all the hotels and motels they stay at are actually the same set just revamped every time, you can see the same positions for the walls.

So happy to rewatch Supernatural with you. Can't wait for Season 2, this is when the drama really starts. The first episodes... well, many episods are just demon of the weekend type of episodes, hope Calvin will not loose his interest during them.

I just now appreciate and realize that Aaron and I both started around the same time watching this show for the first time.

Season 1 of this show is the slowest for me, because most of the episodes are so straightforward. I prefer when everything's tied together into an overarching plot, which you'll get a lot more of in all the subsequent seasons. Still, there are a few gems in this season when it comes to the horror genre which they never really manage to outdo later on, imo.

As a person that never watched this show this reaction was super weird last two scenes was the cop getting killed and then the two main protagonist's drive away in the sunset as heroes will in my mind or view they are still leaving the supernatural kid who could "draw things" still in the town. Comment below if you want to explain this to me. lol
