You and Jack are sitting at the table, you’re scrolling through your phone whilst Jack is on the laptop. He suddenly tells you he has case, and he turns the computer to you and begins to tell you about it. You figure this is a simple case you and Jack can solve on your own, since Sam and Dean are always busy dealing with end of the word drama. You tell Jack to meet you at the car in 20 minutes and you head to your room to pack some things.
A knock at the door makes you jump slightly and you turn around to see Dean. He glances at the bag on your bed filled with clothes and weapons for the hunt and then he turns back to you.
“You’re staying here”
You began to protest, you’ve been a hunter for a while and they still don’t trust you enough to go on a hunt yourself. He didn't listen and picks up the bag on your bed and walks out your room. Another knock at the door makes you look up to see Sam there with a cup of tea smiling slightly as he sets it down on the desk and sits bedsides you. He asks if you want to talk about it and you talk about how you want to be trusted more and a sympathetic smile flashes across his face before he responds saying how monsters will be here forever and there’s no rush. You smile slightly, before he leaves your room.
After a few hours passed and both Sam and Dean were asleep, you and Jack snuck out and began to make your way to the town where the monster was. Your heart was beating with adrenaline, you knew there would be consequences when you got back, but this was your chance to show them you can go a hunt without them. You soon arrived, Jack reassured you everything would be ok, but only a few moments later loud footsteps began to make their way down the corridor, you quickly hid and waited for the footsteps to fade away. Once they were gone you split up with you taking the upstairs and Jack staying downstairs.
You crept up the stairs you felt your heart beating again, this time fear seemed to be driving force behind it. After checking the room you turned around only to come face to face with the monster, you froze, which gave it time to get the first punch in, which knocked you out of your terrified state and begin to fight back. You went to reach for your gun but it knocked it out of your hand. You were thrown across the room, luckily for you, the same place where your gun landed, you grabbed it and began to shoot at the monster, it didn’t kill it but it gave you enough time for Jack to enter the room which diverted the monsters attention. A bright light took over the room as Jack used his powers to kill the monster, once it was over, Jack was rushing to your side to heal you. Once he healed you, you both headed back to the car.
You checked your phone to see several messages and missed calls. You sat in the car and almost wished that you could just drive forever and not go back, but you knew you had to. You both took a deep breath before opening the bunker door.
Once the door was open, you both saw all three of them staring at you. No one said anything as you both kept your heads down looking at the floor, then Dean began to speak. He started off calm but it quickly turned loud, you both muttered a sorry . You knew they were worried about you and you felt bad. Once they finished both you both went into your rooms. You sat there realising how worried you made them, the only people who care about you in this world and you made them feel like that. A knock at the door broke you from your thoughts and Cas entered, he hadn’t said much during the shouting but you could tell he was worried, he sat down next to you and you excepted to be told off but instead he told you not worry. You gave him a smile as he hugged you before leaving your room.
You heard him go into Jack’s room and talk to him and once he left Jack’s room silence fills the bunker. Your door is knocked on again and Dean comes in, he seems to have calmed down and he sits beside you on the bed and apologises. You look at him surprised, he didn’t need to apologise you were the one in the wrong, he carries on talking about how he’s just wanted to protect you and you feel tears well up in your eyes as you think about just how worried he was when you were gone. Tears also form in Dean’s eyes as he talks about why he gets angry, you look at him with a sympathetically as he looks ahead trying to wipe the tears coming down his face. When he finishes you put your head on his shoulder to which he wraps his arm around you and pulls you in tighter. After a while he moves away wiping any remaining tears away and tells you to get some sleep, he helps you lay down and walks out the door turning round to look at you before turning out the light.
