Jared had a fundamental problem with the scene where he got drooled on by the zombie. So they had to angle it so it wasn't really drool that fell on his face. He once said at a convention "If you punch me, the worst I'd do is punch you back, but if you spit on me, I'm gonna kill you!!" :'-D Or something along those lines anyway:D Kim Rhodes (Sheriff Jody Mills) said that the scene where they burned her husband and kid's bodies was the first scene she shot. Up to the very last second before they yelled action the boys were messing around being silly and then just before they called action Jared said to Kim "What do you need?" in such a sincere way that it made it easy for her to tear up for the scene! :D

Poor Bobby! Poor Jody! This episode breaks my heart! Bobby has had to kill his wife *TWICE* and it makes me so sad! No one should ever have to kill someone they love, especially not twice! And Jody! Oh, that hurts! She lost her son, and then he comes back! She has her little boy back! But then he kills her husband and Sam has to kill her son... So she lost her son *again* as well as her husband... My heart breaks for her so much! I love her so fucking much!

@Melissa Waterman IKR! I often wish they'd bring up some of these things a little more, ya know? Not go out of it's way to do so, like suddenly just have Sam say to Jody "Hey, remember when I shot your zombie son?" (okay, but imagine if they did that... Hahaha) but like just have passing mention of these things, like Jody says to the boys that the day would've been her sons or her husbands birthday or something like that... Something small, but enough to show how much she must still suffer from that moment... :(

Jim Beaver (Bobby) was actually in the horror film Crimson Peak, which came out a few years ago. His character in that was VERY different from Bobby.

Sonía yeah that was weird. I figured it was the writers doing fan service for the fans who wanted dean and jo together. Personally, I didn’t think they had the chemistry compared to other pairings but to each their own 🤷🏻‍♀️

@@thegeekoutgirl you didn't see real chemistry because you didn't want to!in the first episode,which they met(2x02),Dean wanted to make out with her and tried to tell her with indirect words but changed his mind because he saw her more than just a girl which he can fix his sexual desires(pretty much the thing which he does with so many pretty women in the show,which he probably did with Lisa as well,years ago)so clearly Jo was different!and their sexual tension in later episodes!and that wasn't goodbye kiss!a night before that,probably his last night alive,he wanted to do something with her again,which Jo rejected!

I have philosophical issue with how characters react to death in this show. Sam, Dean and Bobby know beyond doubt that there is life after death, that there is a soul and person's identity survives, so technically it's not death, just a separation for a while. So Bobby knows that his wife's soul is out there, that she is not gone, just relocated. So I understand missing her, but not mourning her.

@@Crescentknight8189 Would it still be unbearable if you knew that your loved one is fine and waiting for you and you'll see them in several decades (probably less if you are Bobby)? What's happening in SPN universe is not death per se, it's temporary separation.
