Ever log he had there was too small to even be split, I don't split anything less than 6 inches. If it doesn't take any bigger logs than that it would be useless to me.
They may look like useless devices but actually they are very good. Specially when the wood is wet, frosted, covered with snow etc. Keeps the hands clean(er) and dry(er).
Hi i was wondering for how much do you sell the cubic meter of that firewood (in euros)...and what is the quality of the wood compared to oak? I am asking because i am going to start a buiseness using that machine.
I do not sell the wood myself. So I cannot help you with that. Cubic meter of wood sells in this part of the world for about 30-40 Eur (soft wood like Alder), Oak is 40-50 Eur. You need a powerful tractor for splitting oak with that machine (80+hp). And I recommend good PTO shafts with clutch for safety.
Я назвал «Суперпилке». Но они не делают их больше. Более новая версия - Pilkemaster Super: pilkemaster.fi/ru/firewood_processor_ru/pilkemaster-super_ru/
You can see that they really shine with the bigger pieces. You can imagine instead of holding the log up parallel to you with the tongs and swinging it out over the rest of the trees you would only be able to lift and carry one end. A tool is only as useful as the operator. There are videos here on youtube where guys and gals who are more familiar with these tools make it look easy.
