Lol that was hilarious 😂 I was like wow he was nice enough to allow the dr to sit down with him at least cut him a break. Instead they did him dirty by zooming in on his tyre....
Remote control Central I’m from Northern Ireland and I went to America once and I was disgusted by how many fat people there were and how big some people were was so shocking for me
Despite Nick being very thin, he isn’t a bad looking man. He also seems like such a sweet person. He really seems like someone that I would be friends with if I came across him in real life. It was very caring of him to comfort her when she was crying. Accolades to him for being kind and compassionate.
Yeah, I eat about that much in 4 days Edit: i am in a much healthier place now and have a dietician and therapist that have helped me tremendously in recovery.
Can I just say that Nick is really sweet, the hug, the gentle tone, and the dinner he added some flavours for her and checking if it is okay for her. Makes him even more attractive really.
Surely they’ve done that on purpose. They put the girl who loves Caribbean food (full of flavour) with the man who has the blandest food I’ve ever seen oh my days hahahahaha
@@4nmnn yeah but it's more so that she understands that bland food isn't always bad and he has to understand that flavour/seasoning is good for food, they always pair up people with really opposite diets
I live in the Caribbean and his food seemed ok. I would have totally eaten it, specially the tomatoes and avocado. How can one love Caribbean cuisine but not tomatoes and avocado?!
@@Annemarie-op9zh bland food isn't always good for you, or necessary for a healthy diet. Seasoning your food doesn't mean adding calories to it - pepper, cumin, cayenne pepper, tumeric... These all add flavour to food. People have known about their health benefits for centuries, and even white people have realized. She's cooking with too much fat, but that doesn't mean that the spices are to blame. It's the excess of animal fat.
Coming from super skinny, he offered actual food. She is so luck, others offered coffee for breakfast lunch and dinner. And If you are luck you get 1 kiwi lol
Dr. Christian Jessen is really good at being direct and honest with his patients without being mean. Shows that he actually does care about his patients
Lots of us watch it as motivation and for me (i dont think i have an ef but like i follow lots of people with them) its something i watch while eating so i dont eat too much or too unhealthy etc. This is like the one show every sufferer would watch if they had access.
Isabella ._. I have an Ed and I am recovering and use this as motivation to enjoy eating and not restrict. People probably watch this to starve themselves.
I feel like nick is having much harder time because he knows how bad that food is for him but her... she seems like a really sweet person but damn she didn’t even try
Someone mentioned they had autism and would react to unknown/hated food textures in the same way. She must have been so hungry there was likely a good reason for why she didn't eat it (half of it looked rank, let's be honest, hers too mind, but so did his).
as someone who is autistic, trying new foods that’s i’m not used to/eating food that i do not like gives me extreme anxiety and makes me break down, whether or not she’s autistic/has the same issues is unknown to me but i understand her 100000%
@@boobiboobthat would make so much sense. These 2 could both be autistics. He doesnt even like his food to touch and prefers it bland, my (autistic) brother is this way. While for me, I will literally gag on chicken or meat that is bland (thats mainly why I became vegetarian too😂)
This guy actually has an okay diet, he just does not eat the appropriate amount, also he needs to add flavor to this. But obviously flavor is not needed.
Shes so flippen fussy. None of his meals looked bad at all, I would struggle with plain porridge but shes irritating me and usually it's the skinny ones that annoy me. Shes not even trying.
Not nearly enough fat or calories. Fat is an essential nutrient and he was cutting it out almost completely. If you eat like that for an extended period of time you will develop serious health problems. So no he was on the show for a reason and needed to change his diet
@@Nik.No.K he had fat. Avocado and the chicken or whatever meat in his sandwiches. He just needs bigger protion sizes. His amount is how much a toddler should eat.
@@iidentifyasjeffbezos He's 5'10 and 110 pounds. That's ridiculous. He is getting close to scary skinny, poor guy. Also, the flight attendant guy was super super nice.
Ive only watched a few episodes of this and he did amazing! Best skinny to healthy transformation yet. He gained 14 pounds! And I could tell she wouldn't do well.
From the mans introduction you’d expect him to be super fussy but it turned the other way round. He was so sweet and he actually tried as well. I think his diet was actually decent but he could have done with bigger portions and adding in small amounts of junk.
Nick is so cute telling the Dr about how he's started mixing a lot of his food together. Like he looks really happy with himself and that's so awesome!
Nick is such a good kind soul. He's supportive and caring. He deserves so much happiness, I wish him nothing but the best. He's the kind of man you want your daughters to fall in love with.
Does anyone else feel like the super skinnies should also have some sort of extreme anorexic person to meet as a wake up call as well? Seems very one sided when it’s only the overweight ones getting this “wake-up call” lol
I understand where you’re coming from but that can be very triggering, and would likely make the super skinnies worse. I think what could be beneficial for both super skinnies and super sizes is to meet someone who is very very healthy and to see how they eat and live. I think that would be more motivational in both cases
Anorexia can equally kill the same yet they only inform you of just being sluggish tired mode since of being under weight its expected and normal to have an unhealthy relationship with food since that lifestyle is so acceptable which is so so wrong and damaging
@@sophiedixon6407 Yes but anorexia is rightfully shunned by society and people denounce anyone who supports under eating to the point of starvation but being obese is considered “an alternative body size” instead of a weight issue that needs to be addressed. If I tell someone they need to loose weight, I’m fatphobic. If I tell someone they need to eat more, I’m a concerned person. See the double standard?
@@kimmiewise1044 its like we’ve overcompensated so that its become toxic. also, i think obese people are demonised and they also need as much help as anorexic people. i can see both sides
@@mellowmorningsasmr3770 his husband is a pretty handsome dude as well. Of course when you are that successful you can probably get anyone you want lol
@@primroseverona Just what I was thinking good food but ff you have seen any of the other shows did you ever notice that all the skinny ones only seemed to have coke?!
Lisa seemed so defeated when she said, "you know, I know what I need to do. I'm just not ready." I hope she got help and got the weight off. She almost seems like she's giving up completely.
Any of the other supersizers would of killed for Nick as a partner. He actually EATS. They wouldn't have an empty plate the entire time. This makes me really sad... He was sooo nice and a great candidate. She was terrible "it's the type of food" noooo it's YOUUUUU.
I think shes a perfect partner because she doesnt like the food and shes gonna have to learn. Its not supposed to be easy for the supersizer nor superskinnies. Just putting in my thought (:
it's actually danherous for the superskinny people to eat the portions of the supersize people because they physically can't fit it in their stomachs. it's completely understandable why superskinny people won't eat the food they're given in this show.
Well when I was younger and still ate eggs, three eggs with those toast would have been easy for me😋 I still can empty more than half a pack of normal sized wholegrain toast in one sitting 😅😂😂😂
@@lesyeuxsansvisage1157 Eggs do have lots of cholesterol, but it's HDL cholesterol, not LDL. HDL acts differently than trans and saturated fats, and it's not necessarily bad for you.
The comments: "are we not going to talk about how amazing, sweet, precious, perfect in every way Nick is?" Every second comment: "omg how amazing is Nick?!"
徐悠 yeah bc apparently nick eats the same thing every single day? and suddenly there’s rice? and spice in the chicken? and him asking so many qns how’s the chicken, if it’s flavourful like damn,.... nick is a gentleman
The body gospel teacher is so kind! I’m not religious, but seeing her use God, which many people look up too, to increase their health and well being is very sweet and incredible! Kudos to you!
He was so sweet, the way he put his arm around her when she started crying and told her it was OK 🥰 I would take that kind of comfort any day, lol; whoever he's with is a lucky one.
honestly i'd HAPPILY eat those meals that he made to her every single day without giving a single compliant except the plain porridge. just add some fruit on it and problem solved tho, very yummy!
nick actually had a diet that would be great for saskia. he had well balanced meals with lots of healthy food. i dont know why she would be complaining so much if she actually wanted to change
I think Saskia did not like the bland food so she wasn’t super interested in eating it, but I still wonder if her body had a reaction to it. I once saw another documentary where a woman changed her diet from highly fattening, sugary, salty, unhealthy foods to healthy whole foods with good nutrition. She ended up feeling very sick with headaches, fatigue, nausea, and was basically bedridden for a few days. The same thing happened to Saskia in this episode. She had an unhealthy diet of salty, fattening takeout food with little nutritional value, and then she ate Nick’s much healthier food, which her body is unaccustomed to. To me, it’s not a big surprise that she felt sick and nauseous.
I eat my food once at a time too. My family thinks it’s weird. I always start with my least favorite, and work my way up to my favorite, so I can end the meal with a bang.
While I circle my plate eating a bit of everything, my daughter does the same as you. Eating one item on her plate at a time and saving the best for last.
@@manialord1699 she's still overweight clearly but, unlike some of the nastier comments are suggesting, she's definitely made an effort to lose weight.
Actually if you're nutrients deprived eating healthy for the first time will cause you to feel sick for a couple of minutes. It's the rush of nutrients going into your body.
@@LadyChubbyBlueberry I can understand her not wanting to eat the raw tomatoes; I have a handful of foods that will immediately trigger me to vomit and I will not eat them. It's not worth it.
I’m sure they don’t show us the full diet plan because it’s specifically made for those individuals, but they do give somewhat of an idea of what’s in them, just not portion sizes
They need to give the super skinny people a weight lifting regimen. They're terrified of gaining fat, not muscle. This way they can eat more, put on weight, and end up looking good rather than a skinnyfat normie.
I agree. Weigh training is wonderful for everyone but especially someone trying to gain. They can gain weight in muscle which will bulk up desirable areas only.
Stick her with a worse superskinny. That one whole foods lady that only eats a bowl of weird not-oatmeal once a day. Then she'd really be upset and "not feeling well."
I think she’s just reacting emotionally, rather then not being able to eat it. At that weight, she is able to gorge down anything. and trust me, I say this as a fat person. At her size, it is extremely rare to also be a picky eater. I think she’s just angered that she has to eat unseasoned and bland food, not that she necessarily dislikes it. That’s sad.
Definitely not hard to be a picky eater at any size. She eats Caribbean food, food that is full of flavor....then you have his food that Is absolutely bland. Being fat doesn’t mean you’ll just eat anything. That’s the stupidest assumption I’ve read on here yet.
@@biscuitqueen1379 well thing is: shes used to strong tastes and so she might taste less of the bland food, than Nick would Same when your Eating lots of sugar: Natural sugars in fruits taste less sweet and when cutting down extra sugars fruits starts to taste sweeter again
@@biscuitqueen1379 it kinda does lmao. She eats pure garbage and when presented with food in its purest form she ha sa no appreciation for what she is actually eating. This bitch is still a whale. You know she learnt nothing from this. I also suspect she lied about her weight loss at the end and that is why she never showed up. Shes a fake person through and through
My friend is a picky eater but in a really bad way he hardly eats healthy food and basically only eats junk food and wont listen to me when I say he needs to eat properly
I would be annoyed she’s not really trying as much as he is. He was giving it a major go even though you know it was killing him inside not to analyze it. He never complained or anything and she’s just complaining about how bland it is. I’m sorry, but you have to get used to different flavors so you can incorporate more of the healthy into your life.
Yes! She definitely backed out and that's why she didn't show up. She couldn't stomach Nick's foods, I don't think she managed to eat healthy by herself

I don't eat many vegetables. But I'm fine. Still 90 kilos (down from 140 kg at 5'11") living a frankly gluttonous lifestyle with unending hot chocolate, omelettes, meat, cheese, cream...
@@ellenorbjornsdottir1166 what's that got to do with my post though? I didn't say people who don't eat vegetables are children. I stated that she is acting the way a child does who make a fuss over eating something they do not want to eat.
Just because you don't eat enough/are more comfortable with certain things doesn't mean you have an eating disorder! You don't NEED spice, if he likes blander food thats his preference. Just needs to work on his portions
I really feel for Lisa. I found just quitting coffee to be really difficult, like I've quit so many times and I can't do it. I can't imagine have a powerful food addiction and having to overcome that. It's like with caffeine I know I need to quit because of the bad side effects I'm getting and I still can't do it. So I can understand that she knows she needs to change but just isn't mentally there.
