One of the classiest players ever who won everything for club/country and was coached by 3 master coaches: Ancelotti, Mourinho and Guardiola. There is no bigger prize in football.

What a player during his playing time at LFC, Real Madrid and Bayern. Now he's doing well as a Coach at Bayer Leverkusen, as a LFC fan glad to see the legend doing well at at Leverkusen. Good luck Xabi!

With such a huge football brain... I'm not surprised he's turning out to be such a super trainer. Guys like Xavi Alonso, Xabi, Carrick, and even Gundogan when he retires, will be good coaches.

@420leshrac If players have to be compared based on their roles, why are there no Balon D'or for every position? Why is it won mostly by goalscorers? How did they compare them to defenders to feel they deserve it just for scoring many goals. Goals they didn't provide for themselves
