My guess was either Savignon Blanc or Albariño, and I was really sure of the Albariño. I guessed Old World, and Italy....Hahaha I didn't get to taste it though so, no harm done! I guessed the range of year correctly though! 2018 apparently was a really fantastic year for wine in the US.
TheStoneThatRolls I was thinking Sancerre too (had some last night so it was fresh in my memory), thought that Sancerre might be a bit on the 👃 but apparently not. Nicely done 🤘🏾
Same, was totally thinking Vouvray from the melon and lack of herbaceous notes. I also understand why he went Wachau though because of the full body for a non-lactic unoaked wine in combination with the high acid. Really fun to think through these tastings
@@MisterInfinity24 Well we dont care what people in france call it, we pronounce it with the C and its widely accepted by experts as to be the correct way of saying it. So if france wants to be the odd one out then so be it, sure the grape originated in france but doesnt mean that how they pronounce it is correct when everyone else agrees otherwise they just lost out on the correct name.
