I'm currently undecided between HyperDip and Super Wrap too. What I would say however is the HyperDip you probably want to compare with is the Piano Black as that's the glossy one

@@labergelaurence6506 I watched that video but tbh I don't think that guy was being sincere. He compared the satin HyperDip product to a gloss Superwrap product. I want to see gloss black vs. gloss black, and ideally from a neutral person (not a seller!)

I would have put them on the ground or saw horses are lower also. After watching dip your car videos with Fonzie I'll do mine on the car and use a hair blow dryer to be sure the corners are dry along with my little cordless shop blower. This is not Hyper Dip which to me seems much easier and atomizes finer.

Unfortunately, her calipers aren't OEM clearcoated, so it's not recommended.

No. We have pre-built kits containing everything you need. Simply go on our shop page, choose your color and then choose our 18-19in wheel kit. *Kits are calculated to cover the face of 4 wheels only. If you have multispoke, complex or uncommon wheels, we recommend going up a kit. The number of cans per kit depends on the color. Generally, our 18-19in wheel kit contains 2x Prep Wipes, 3x Base cans and 3x Color cans.

We do not recommend going through automatic car washes. Many customers have gone through touch-less traditional car washes without any issues, however given there is no general standardization for pressure, soaps and waxes used, we suggest caring for your Superwrap surface yourself with Superwrap Maintenance Products or any non-acidic wheel cleaner.

Funny enough I have taken mine to the car wash and the spinner scrubbed the wheels with no issues at all

Caps cannot be sprayed since they are laminated. We would have loved to cover these bad boyz hahaha!

Applying Superwrap with the wheels off the car and laying flat makes installation much easier and gives a professional looking finish. We recommend spraying at a slight angle with the can (as shown in this video) and at 8-12 inches from the wheels.

We had enough space to put the tape so no need to let some air out. Not sure what you mean by rub the alloys down...But we never prime before using Superwrap, it needs to be applied on clear coated surfaces used by OEM car manufacturers including clear coated body panels, alloy wheels, chromed plastics, clear coated carbon fibre and metal surfaces.

As mentioned in our How-to written instructions (and the one you'll receive with your package), in order to obtain the advertised result, durability and for proper peelability, a proper Nemesis Black application requires a 6-7 wet coats of Gloss Black followed but 3-4 wet coats of Nemesis Black. It will be the same technique.

How was the turnout?

@@ericgonzalez4428 The finished look was nice. I needed a lot more product than the wheel kit provided. I have 20" rims and bought a kit for 20" wheels, but the coverage was not that great. I had to purchase some more base and colour cans and still could of purchased more. I also noticed that stones chip the Superwrap finish easily. I have a bunch of stone chips already on the wheel and its been only 3 months. I have the bumper sprayed with plasti dip and there are no stone chips on them currently.

Although we share some characteristics with other peelable products, we are quite different. Plastidip is a rubber based product while Superwrap is a vinyl based product. Being vinyl based enables us to offer paint-like, high gloss, smooth finishes straight out of the can and gun. Superwrap uses premium Automotive pigments and is also a self-levelling product with high UV and chemical resistance. Rubber based companies can’t achieve a single step high gloss finish out of a can the way ours does.

As mentioned in the video, since they are laminated we do not recommend spraying Superwrap since there might be an incompatibility with the solvents in the product.

You must remove the wheels from the car in order to remove the centercaps, remove the lugs, and properly mask the inner barrel. Applying Superwrap with the wheels off the car and laying flat makes installation much easier and gives a professional looking finish.

There's a total of 10 wet coats.

For her 17'' wheels, since they are complex, she used the 18-19in Wheel Kit which includes 1x Prep Spray and 6x Gloss Black. It's always better to go up and have a bit more (more coats = more durability). You can also use the leftover for touchups. Cam also used 1 can of High Gloss Clear (optional product).

She peeled the Gloss Black after 1 year and it was still intact. She wanted to try out another look!

​@yoyo 19 Aerosols like these are rather used on wheels, bicycle frames, motorcycle parts (fairings, fenders and gas tank) and accessories (calipers, grills, etc.). For bigger parts like roof, hood or even a full-body work, gallons would be our recommendation. It's peelable, so it's not paint. Superwrap is a sprayable and peelable vinyl wrap.

Alcohol (IPA) and wheel cleaners might not be sufficient to properly decontaminate your surface. We highly recommend to use our Prep Spray for complete decontamination of your surface in order to eliminate any potential contaminates such as silicone found in tire shine, waxes and sealants.

@@SuperwrapOfficial was asking because i used plastidip before and didn’t really like the rubbery feel to it. And every time I used a wheel shine product it messed up the plastidip like it had a reaction to the wheel shine.

Unfortunately, no.

High humidity and temperature will influence Superwrap’s gloss levels. Just always make sure to avoid spraying in a hot/high humid environment. We recommend spraying in temperatures 68-82F and with a humidity level below 60%.

This is Cam (from this video). My BBW wheels are not expensive and were quite old and scuffed. And Superwrap is peelable, so once I was ready to remove the Gloss Black (which I did about 1 year later), I could easily do so.

No, it's actually better to spray inside, in a well-ventilated area. Wind, contaminants, temperature and humidity can affect the finish, so it's always better to spray in a controlled environment. We are also quite far from the car.

$10 on Amazon for a thin clear plastic car cover for this purpose. Should be in the kit.
