She's made of very tough stuff. Can't help but admire her. Also love the "Body not by Ozempic" line. Cutting. And a 52-year-old shouldn't have to look model-thin to work as actress.
@@dante6985self deprecating humor is pretty normal, a lot of people continue to fail even if they are on the drug (or it’s sister drug) , why would that be “so mean to herself” ? I’m going to assume you are a young person, under the age of 40-50?
I just appreciate how everyone got up for her, to applaud her, to make it feel like and be known that Christina's career was important, even if she has to stop now. Hate these people for whatever, but the comradery there was really sweet. Congrats to Ayo, too. May she have a sick career. 3 awards this week!
@@fbueller Heh! I think she was playing up being "outraged" for the reaction-shot camera -- she did smile and slightly nod at the winning announcement 🙂
The way she went from being so moved and crying to "get your a** up here" in excitement for Ayo, is exactly why this woman is priceless. Her charisma and character are just it, and its ALWAYS been that way.
She's iconic at this point. Having been diagnosed with an autoimmune disorder, I can totally relate with the feeling of losing your youth and everything and feeling less than what you used to be. It must be tougher for an actress like her who was once considered one of the sexiest actresses on TV. She is so brave to step out there and not retreat out of the world out of fear of people's judgments.
@@fredsmith6324you're allowed to feel that way. I personally found absolutely nothing cringe about it at all! The woman is hilarious! If you can keep laughing, then good for you
Absolutely. Not only a superb actress and brilliant comedy talent, Christina is an inspiration. I hope she knows how much she is loved by her millions of fans worldwide.
I had never identified with a character as much as I did with Sydney, Ayo's character in The Bear, and when I found out that she had been nominated for the role, I was really rooting for her to win the award, and behold, she deservedly did. , and I'm very happy about it. This girl still has a long way to go!! ❤😭😍🥺
Touching moment when they gave Christina Applegate a standing ovation! I grew up watching her from Married with Children. And loved her in the 1991 movie Don't Tell Mom the Babysitters Dead lol. She is a fighter and deserves all the love and more! 👏🏾
I’m crying, I love all the love Christina received and she is so modest and funny even through her struggle, and she was so happy for Ayo who deserves all the awards for The Bear! What a great show!
She was brilliant! I was worried that she would get overlooked because people mostly talk about how good Jeremy's performance was to the point that they overlooked her. But instead, she took home the award aswell as Jeremy himself I'm so happy for The Bear cast 🙌
@@jahnoyawalker4227the voters clearly felt different Voters are rypically sent scenes or episodes not the whole season as submissions and vote based on that So they were impressed by whatever episode they saw
She's a trooper for doing this. Was just thinking that I'd have stoop up if I had been in the audience when they showed everyone getting up or already on their feet. ❤
Ayo was great but I really hope she gets included in the best actress in a leading role category next year so that Janelle James can finally get her win as Ava.
Ayo made history tonight as only the THIRD Black actress to win an Emmy in the Supporting Actress In A Comedy Series Category. She joined Jackee Harry who won in 1992 and Sheryl Lee Ralph who won in 2022. Legendary. Black Excellence fo sho
Dont care. The only thing that is important is that this iconic actress Christina Applegate is going through something beyond words! I WILL PRAY FOR CHRISTINA TO GET BETTER!
@@user-cb9ul1ds6y, both things can be important at the same time. And Christina would want you to be celebrating Ayo’s win right here, instead of focusing on her.
I swear my left eye sprung a leak, the moment the audience began to rise, when Christina walked out. We should never forget that, among the most courageous of people, are those battling or living with medical adversity.
Kelly Bundy will always and forever be one of the most gorgeous women to hit the screen. Love her strength through her struggle which makes Christina even more gorgeous.
bless christina. absolutely love her so much. and same with Ayo. congrats to both for being incredibly women in hollywood that girls can truly look up to
love everything about this video Christina the standing ovation Christinas humor amid such as brave battle this Little girl that keeps winning I dont even who she is and I love her 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
She's such a beautiful soul and I'm glad Selma Blair has to helped her navigate MS and be a support system. She's a strong woman and an inspiration to a lot of people❤
This was a tough category - everyone in it is so good! I love Ayo, but was rooting for Jessica as she is so vital to Shrinking. My heart goes out to Christina, such a strong woman and a class act!
Oh wow! - havent a clue this is what shes going through - loved her in Married with Children!! - yes thats me way back. God bless her and heal her with whatever shes going through and loving her sense of humour in all this. To Ayo, gurl, Congratulations!!
I remember my dad allowed me to stay up late and watch "The Bundy's" Kelly was my favorite, and I fell in love with television because of her. Whether she has MS or not, she has earned that standing O
