This vid is one of my favs. Sums up the solo surf trip so well. I find it haunting- especially that barrelling beachie. Having lived half a lifetime with wife/kids/mortgage in Aus, I so look forward to dusting off the NZ passport and getting lost over there for a while doing exactly this.

i'm likely to think that those crazy beach break rights is at blacks though it looks very unusual but might be if i'm right could someone pls pm me i'm in europe now & have been for 30 yrs ) and don't think ill ever be back
