Too right about people walking up. Found your channel by chance. I'm skating again after quitting in the nineties although I'm old 47 I'm still able not as well but getting tricks back.
@mikeuptegrove Nice. Just ordered myself the C5. Learning to skate transitions in my mid 40s to improve my surfing, which is also terrible. Ordered the C5 cause I would also like to learn some Ollie's and maybe a few flip tricks if I can. Love the videos, inspires me to try new things instead of just flat street surfskating.
@kanablis1946 yeah, the C5 is a good transitionary truck. You can do forward moving flip tricks and ollies pretty easily. Fakie and nollie and landing fakie are tricky tricky. But in general it’s a good smooth feeling when transitioning back to regular skating from a SurfSkate. It’s not as stiff as a regular truck and not as loose as a C7 or Meraki or SmoothStar style spring loaded SurfSkate truck. I’m in my 40s too and it’s been a process. But it’s fun. I just go little by little these days. 30 minute sessions basically. Enjoy the trucks. Good luck. 🤙🤙
