Anyone else cry when they saw Brooklinn come out of surgery with her new upper lip? I cried from that point all the way to the end. I've been following her since her 1st video. Oh wow you really are an inspiring person. A young boy age 9 in Wexford Ireland was badly attacked in the face by a loose dog while he was out playing. The dog tore his face and lip off. All if Ireland was supporting him. I hope his family see your story and know that there is hope in surgery to repair but not only that your mental strength is incredible x

Wow! Like others here, I've lurked and followed your story for a long time. Your strength and attitude are just as impressive as your surgeon's vision. I got teary seeing him draw lip lines for you. Like... you're so close to the end of this surgical journey-and whether or not you keep documenting, how exciting that you get to move on to new chapters soon. Your reaction when you realized you can see your teeth was so beautiful.

Isn't it so amazing what surgeons can accomplish now?! When my husband was 3, a dog bit off his nose. That reconstruction was pretty terrible partly because he didn't have cartilage yet to help form the tip so they just sort of formed a button looking thing on the end of his nose. After we got married he had another reconstruction and you can barely tell he had surgery! They cut a nose shape out of his forehead, pulled the rest of his forehead together, flipped the nose flap down, and stitched it up. Remarkable!

Your tip on braiding your hair before a surgery, is very correct! I had 7 spinal surgeries within 3 months a few years ago, and was left bed ridden flat on my back. At the start of the surgeries my hair was below my waist. Between my 4th and 5th surgeries I had my mom shave my head. I just couldn’t handle it anymore. I kept it super short till I was done with surgeries. Also loved the crying baby interpreted dance by the beautiful Ms. Chloe! The “Empathy” sweatshirt made it even funnier. You look amazing! Hope your throat gets better. Have some hot tea with honey.
