You asked & Chloé answered - Everything about my attack 

The only time someone asked me about my scars was when I was assisting a portrait artist at a children’s birthday party. This inquisitive individual was the sweetest 5 year old. She ran up with a sad look in her face and asked if I got hurt. I told her that sometimes my body gets confused and thinks I’m hurt. My body tries to help but instead it hurts me. That’s how I explain hidradenitis suppurativa to children, it’s an auto inflammatory disease. She looked so sad. She hugged me and kissed my scar and said that she can help me to stop hurting. Oh my gosh I was floored. I told her that she’s already done just that. I’ve had people stare but I understand they’re curious and probably think I don’t notice. I really don’t care anymore but it really hurt during my younger years when I thought that beauty and appearance were important. Oh I did have something else happen in regards to my eye issue which I’m certain is what Chloe dealt with having to do with her sinuses and eye. Once I was on a date and he asked me what my favorite feature of myself was. I’m sure he was hoping I’d list one of my reproductive parts 🤦‍♀️ I said my eyes. I have green eyes. Only 2% of the population has green eyes. It makes me feel kinda special. I have beautiful eyes. No other part of me is exactly beautiful (but that doesn’t matter) so I say my eyes are my favorite and he looks at me like I’m joking and is surprised. Keep in mind this guy isn’t pretty, and doesn’t have anyone knocking down his door. He turned out to not be the one lol.

Yeah it’s so bizarre. Obviously it’s not the same thing as what this girl has gone through, but I suffer with pretty bad breakouts from time to time and people (not friends, just acquaintances) have thought it was perfectly acceptable to ask what is on my face. Like I’m sorry, what gives you the right? I would never ask someone that question and I have autism 😂 we are supposed to be the socially inept ones

It's unbelievable ... unless you have some mental disability, if you do things like asking "wtf happened to your face?" to a stranger... you're just a bag of 💩Now, regarding the "mustache" remark... the person who said that to her needs a big smack on the head to try and readjust those 2 remaining brain cells 🤬

Me neither at 19. If I see someone disabled I don’t stare or treat them differently. Because I know what it feels like when people treat you like a hurt puppy.

Didn't realize Chloé was on Dance Moms (didn't watch it either though). Love the two' relationship! They are soooo sweet, loving and respectful to each other. Goals - for ANY kind of relationship. ❤

they're not less important bc they're animals

My dogs are animals but I trust them 110% to never hurt me or any other human. I will never compare kids to pets cause you just can't but my dogs and cats are my fur babies and ill protect them just like I would my kids cause they would protect us in return. We've shown them nothing but love so they show that in return. Animals only ever attack due to many reasons like lack of training, neglect, abuse, being taken away from its mum at such a young age, puppy mills. The list goes on. Dogs aren't evil and neither are their action. People make them that way.

@Trinity M I disagree. That said Hannah, I do think that Chloe is a genuinely kind person whose intentions are good. I might not agree with her political stances, but I still appreciate the positivity and goodness she strives to bring to the world. I think she is succeeding 😌

is that her upper lip or something on her lip? i always thought it was something attached to it to protect it?

@@harleyquiinnnn It's her upper lip or to be specific the upper portion of her mouth. The doctor took some part of her skin from her left hand, connected some nerves to supply bloodflow and attached it to the portion of the mouth she lost. Next few surgery will focus on shaping that portion to look normal, further they will give a proper structure to her lip. Earlier the swelling was quite visible and now it has started to look normal.

I used to be paranoid people were staring at me but I realized im staring at them for them to stare at me....in a store we cant just look at the floor and items I mean humans are around and we look, I doubt you are getting any looks because of how you look bc I do all the time

I also have some different-ish if i can say...my head is a little bit big...it's not like the normal size...and people used to stare and still do stare,..feels a little bit weird.....but yeah...i love my self the way Iam...❤️

This is really true and relatable. I'm sorry that happens to you and I really acknowledge the mental health issues this can bring. In 2016 i was run over by a car.. had a head trauma, broken nose, checkbone, forehead, feet, and had a lot of cuts...so I got a lot of surgerys/procedures in the space of 4 years (plus: memory problems). I felt isolated and confused, and i could not expose myself to sunlight. Don't get me wrong, I'm super grateful that my health insurance dealt with the plastic reconstructive surgerys and dermatologic aspects of all (like filler, laser...) and i feel beautiful. but i'm almost 33 years old and had a lot of therapy Hahahah for a long time it was not like that and i didnt felt like myself. And i'm a marxist feminist , i would NEVER change my body in any way if i had the choice. So i got depressed AF. Was like living in another body, with a face that was not my choice, and completely different of who i was before (and how my family looks). I have a twin sister and sometimes hurts when i look at her... That shit changes you even after you recover. So i hope you hang in there ❤ and know you deserve to be happy, achieve your goals and know you still have inside something that makes you who you are. Just go for it!

@@callthisnumbernow937 were not quite sure exactly why she attacked. we believe that since i had our other small dog in my arms she was initially going after the small dog and got me instead. she was a great dog and grew up with me and my brother so she wasnt always like that. she ended up tearing my left side of my face open (from my temple straight down to my jaw).

I was in 5th grade and was attacked by a family friend's pit. That did not make me fear all dogs. Only Pits. It has been decades and the sight of a pit still terrifies me. I know, they are not all alike. But, to me, they are. It did make me more cautious of all dogs. I still baby-talk to them at a distance. If they are with their humans I will make sure to ask if I may approach. Think I'll go huge my big goofy dog. Have a great day.

My daughter was attacked by a pit bull mix when she was 5 years old, she's 10 now. It was terrible, it pulled her off of the swing set for no reason. It tore open one side of her face 😥 she had bites on her shoulders and her forearm was fractured. She was in the hospital for 5 days. My mom was there and got attacked too trying to get the dog off of her. She got stitches in her neck and on her hands. I am so beyond grateful and thankful that they both survived! I have done a lot of research on bully breeds since then and they are number 1 in fatal attacks and maulings. The attacks are unpredictable and almost always unprovoked. Friendly as can be right before it happens. That's why they pass temperament tests! It's the way they were bred and it's in their genes. Very sad, smart to continue to be wary of them! 🤍

@@jeannie1592 so sorry this happened to you! I hate that people refuse to acknowledge the stats about pitbull breed dogs and say that any dog can be dangerous. I think all high powered dog breeds should be treated as weapons where you need a license and registration.

It’s a shame that there are owners out there that train their dogs to be this way. The dogs don’t know any better and it’s incredibly upsetting that people and the dogs get hurt from it
