I have no idea what kind of person Suri Cruise is, and I have no understanding of Katie Holmes personality. I have always wondered if Katie ever even loved Tom or if she was just carried away with his celebrity, while Tom seemed to really love/like Katie at first. But I cannot understand how Katie failed to discuss with Tom his religious views and her religious views before having a child, and whether they were on the same page about the role of the parent. Those two items are among the highest priority items to understand about each other before marriage or children. After Tom and Nicole split most of us believed Scientology interfered with Nic and Tom, so why would Katie fail to consider Tom's obsession with Scientology? I think sneaking away while he was out of the country was very immature. Her father was a divorce attorney, she should have had a face to face conversation with him about the divorce. Based on the number of photo opportunities she has provided the media with Suri over the last several years, I feel she is also using her daughter for publicity. Another thing I cannot understand with celebrities like Katie is why they spend thousands of dollars for one designer tee shirt or other clothing that their toddler or infant will grow out of in 5 minutes. Babies don't care if they wear designer clothes or Walmart clothes so the parents do it for their own selfish reasons like to show off to the public how rich they are. Instead they should dress their children nicely but not necessarily in $25,000 designer pants, and instead donate the remander since it is expendable to so many important, life saving, and worthy causes. The amount that rich celebrities WASTE just to show off makes me sick. I don't expect them to sacrifice comfort, style, travel, nice hotels or any of those things that money buys, but some things are so over the top it is simply waste. Why pay $400,000 for a handbag you use once or twice a year at some fancy event when you could buy a very nice handbag and still have so much money left over to contribute to others in desperate need. Meanwhile these same celebrities lecture the average citizen about donating their hard earned dollars to all the poor people around the world while spending 10 million dollars on their toddlers clothes for a year. The waste in America by US celebrities is so disgusting, I have lived in a third world country for years as a middle class person by that country's standards and you are lucky if you get one fresh apple or pear within a whole week, or any fresh water that you don't have to wait for hours to boil and let it cool before you can even drink some water.

I hope Siri and her dad reconcile but he needs to acknowledge she will not go in to Scientology and doesn’t have to!

I don't know anything about Katie Holmes personality and don't think I have ever even seen her being interviewed, but I always thought she was average attractive woman similar to so many actresses, like the cast of 90210 or something, so I don't understand the over the top gushing over Katie's appearance. When Tom fell for her, I did not understand why. I mean Nicole Kidman was a rare beauty and very elegant and unique, even Penelope Cruz (whom Tom dated for 2 years after Nicole) is an incredible and unique beauty, but Katie? She is so average compared to other Hollywood beauties. Of course Tom is an idiot in that he should stick to dating someone who is already in Scientology instead of trying to convert others to join. Most people by the time they are grown ups are fairly set in their religious views, whether it is some religion or atheist, or agnostic.
