I think it is possible to use your scanned gunpla Kakarot. I say this, because that blue custom Gundvolva in the clip you showed, I've actually been a fan of the RU-vidr who MADE that one for a while now. I say again, the RU-vidr in question MADE that blue Gundvolva. So yeah, I'd say it's pretty possible.
Question, would you ever consider adding Super Robot Wars model kit/figure news to Gundam News? There usually isn't much in the way of announcements, but I feel like they would fit in relatively well with your standard stuff, unless you think the additional content would bloat the video too much.
The RG Nu Double Fin Funnel Type has completely different head, chest, shoulders, skirt armor and shield with a different connector aside from the gun. The backpack to fin funnel connector points are also different. Probably because they want it to be able to form the Amuro logo with the fin funnels.
Double fin funnel Nu Gundam is not just a new rifle, there are more differences - Vents on the sides of the head are diffrent - Chest vents are grey with yellow outline instead of being entirely yellow - Shoulder pads are different - Crotch has a different design with the red part being smaller - Front skirts are sharper - The shield has a different connector and inside part And it's only what I can see at first glance, there's definitely more Edit: With the way the fin funnels seem to be attached, the backpack is also at least partially new

Man, that show just felt like it was a video game cutscene being rendered in engine instead of prerendered. Turns out thats prolly exactly what it was designed as too considering it was made on unteal engine5 by a studio run by former video game animators. There are actual clipping issues like in a game, stiff animations, etc.
Miku popping up in something gundam related is something I never expected would happen but now that it is gonna happen I'm also surprised it didn't happen several years earlier.

I saw images of Gundam Sequel on FB. The chapter about the awakening of Gundam Anubis (I think that's the name, at least). Crazy stuff. If this had an anime and Kakatot197 did another video on 10 Brutal Deaths in Gundam, this could be among them along with Suletta Tomato Slap.
This first episode is epic! As a Zeon ms fan, the zakus look AMAZING! And almost as if they took note of what builders were doing with their kits and implemented a lot of the designs. Looks like they have increased armor plating, zimmerit or something on the feet, and modified shields for offensive use! I love it.
Still waiting on the news for the Gundam Breaker 4 DLC, but patience is a virtue. Know you will be right on it when it happens Kakarot, so keep up the great work.
@Borgron I'm 3 eps in and while a chunk of the script is very clunky, the perspective of how menacing the Gundam is while chasing you is great. Some of the fights feel like they move a little too fast/not enough weight to them, but don't regret watching and definitely going to finish it. Definitely clunky, but has some decent upside. OP is right, not deep, but ok enough.
Real Grade Shining??? I hope it's not too heavy for the RG God Gundam to hold in its arms, otherwise I'll just have to use the HGFC. Also, i know some P-Bandai remoulds that are GOING to happen (aside from the obvious one such as clear colors and whatever coating/finish) are Urban Combat Type, Super Mode Colors, True Super Mode/Hyper Mode colors, and Shading Gundam, maybe Gundam Shining Break (both colors), BIG MAYBE Gundam Valkyrie (but that'd also mean we'd have to get a Real Grade Gundam F91), and possibly Ninja Shining Gundam, and these are rather unlikely, but maybe Ulube's Gundam and Rising Gundam?
Requiems pretty good, I liked the MS, infantry equipment, vehicles, aircraft and so on, though there are some cases where the CG does get a bit janky, I noticed one character was holding two rifles in their hands and they were clipping through eachother. The action scenes are nice, the MS scenes are great, my only peeve is where they are showing the assault guntanks (Which I think is in a good setting especially considering it's Odessa and the assault GT was used there in Igloo, perhaps the Federation are having other penal unit pilots use them.) they for whatever reason only use their main cannon when fighting, they don't use their arm mounted bop machine guns.

It was a good story, good effort on everyone’s part who worked on it. With that said it should have never been UE5 CGI, but thank you for taking me back to my Dreamcast days playing Gundam Side Story 0079: Rise from the Ashes. It definitely should have been traditional animation. 7/10
I got to say, as a mainly model car modeler, I find the premium Bandai stuff weird. I mean, don't get me wrong, there were special editions over the years of certains cars, but they were not something you could only buy at an exclusive store. You could buy them at any hobby stores.

Yes they are locked in and can't leave, I don't think they have breaks, used to be quite common in Japan, but I thought this practice was long gone, guess not.
The Gundam Requiem for Vengeance definitely exceeded my expectations. I had my worries with the trailer but while watching the show it fades away. The action scenes are absolutely cool, the Gouf Customs really stole the show.
You said the RG Blast Impulse Spec II had a TBA release date; I was confused for a moment so went and looked up my preorder for it (from back in July) and it's supposed to come out November this year for the US; which means Japan probably has it or is days away from receiving it.
you mean most of the Requiem of Vengeance line is P-Bandai. Two of the kits are regular retail releases. it shouldn't be a surprise as this series isn't a main series.

@@riblo72 I don't disagree with you being furious. I was just mentioning that you can get at least 2 of them. The others are variants of the retail Zaku which are per usual for a P-Bandai release.
@@riblo72 technically yes the Green Zaku would fall under what is usually P-Bandai. Other Zaku variants usually go straight to P-Bandai but the green Zaku is too iconic so it will get a regular retail release.

After watching Requiem of Vengeance, i am now seriously considering skipping the HG solaris custom zaku and getting the gundam universe figure instead. The solaris custom zaku last way less time than you expect, and i dont think i will be getting a 3 pack from p bandai just to get the unidentified type.
I recommend RfV. It has issues. It glosses over how evil Zeon actually was. But its a good Show. Its Gundam. The first Episode shows that they aint fucking around.
Only Bandai can fumble something as easy of a win as a Miku collaboration...what new low will they reach next? Tune in to find out... On another hand. that Shining Gundam is CLEAN

the gouf has awesome scenes in the show won't say much about the show but better than what I thought it was going to be, and the voice acting is bad at parts but at others its not to bad

For me RFV is 7.5/10. Its overall a uniquely flawed show, but quite a start for modern era Gundam CG show. *MS Igloo 2: The Gravity Front characters do much better character animations compared to RFV.
Of course Miku would hop aboard the Metaverse train for the collab. Why am I not surprised...can we pull the plug on this service? it's clear no one wants it and its playerbase is downright pitiful.
Welp, I *WAS* excited. *WAS* being the operative word. I'm legitimately losing my love for Gunpla over the absurd number of P-bandai.Gundam base exclusives I'd buy otherwise. I'm NOT pre-ordering. I'm NOT flying to Japan. If Bandai doesn't want my money, then I'm not going out of my way to give it to them. Hell, there's an HG Duel Blitz in my Ebay shopping cart I might just...drop. Seriously, P-bandai getting everything and the US market getting screwed over again and again is just...it's disheartening.

I am pretty sure this is a sunk cost fallacy. Bandai invested so much up front for the Metaverse that they have to complete it in order to not look bad to investors. TBH, Gundam Breaker 4 hub world is a better Metaverse.
I'm sure they don't care im spending irresponsible amounts of cash on these little robots and I know I'm not the only one at this point they burn it like the joker and it will be back by the end of the quarter
