Didn't expect such a long trailer MEMBERSHIPS ARE LIVE - / @mintblitz Follow me on Social Media! Discord - / discord Twitter - / mintblitz Twitch - / mintblitz Instagram - / mintblitz #halo #haloinfinite
My take on this trailer. It’s a final update style trailer to signify the game is “complete” it’ll be posted officially once the match composer is coming out / announced. Might get played at the Xbox showcase too.
I think this trailer grossly exaggerates Halo Infinite. Unless you just want customization, or you have tons of time and dedication to sink into Forge, Halo 3 in the MCC is still a better option. Infinite just has too much jank and monetization to be a solid, satisfying way to just have fun.
It still baffles me that halo infinite doesn’t have playable elites. It’s like… a feature that we had since halo 2. Even if it’s not competitive, just put it in as a casual option for modes. I’ll never understand why they think it’s a good idea to pull back on features… the community has been vocal about it but it fell on death ears
@uh_ant no it's not, it's still fun, but with only community made maps does not justify 343 charging so much in the shop. Ifn343 did all the work then maybe. But it feels like they are trying to profit off of stuff the community is making for them
@@MintBlitz It’s so sad to think that this is mostly it. The game is finally getting to a good place, but that “good place” is mostly stuff we expected the game to launch with. And its _content_ is monetized to high hell-I can’t believe they put “rank based rewards” or whatever in the ad when it’s literally just one skin you get after 100s of hours that’s a copy/paste from story. Personally, I’ve been done giving my attention and hope to corpos ever having incentives that align with our interests in gaming again
Halo 7 might still be 5 years out or longer. Halo Infinite may be towards the end of its ‘Live service’ cycle, but there is no reason the Game should be near its end until Halo 7 is near, closes it’s servers, but it’s not anywhere near for that.
@@MintBlitzI've gotten a "return to sender" on myself accidentally; it might have been with one of the projectiles from the spike grenade. Feels like the game is situational/confused on whose-is-whose when it comes to the repulsor
watching that trailer, all i could think of is "store-bought, store-bought, not available, that's in the store, store-bought, costs more than most indie games, ooh that's in a battlepass.. oh wait you pay for those" free to play will be Halo's biggest nail in the coffin
@@Joey-dl6nm Halo has always been a franchise that gives players everything inside of it. It makes sense that they'll show off the biggest things which cost money, but the point they're making is that this game has far too much content locked behind the paywall and that it's depressing to be so disrespected as a fan.
Fortnite was free from the get-go, from its inception. & it is a REAL live service game compared to Infinite. Halo infinite is a money grab without real content that comes directly from 343. All the work is being done by contractors & forgers Halo was a better game when they charged $60 for it. Let's be real.
@@joeyd8692 ... in a series that prides itself on cosmetics. Not to mention these cosmetics still include previously free to earn helmets and armor components that now cost money (locus for example). We have more cash grab cosmetics in the game than effort put into adding modes that are integral to the series. We still don't even have a dedicated firefight mode, just a king of the hill pvp player-tailored one. Please hold some criticism for the game and hold microsoft and 343 responsible for harming the series that we all love.
Interesting that the trailer shows a warthog running over an elite ultra in firefight and yet the ultras aren’t in firefight at all - I wonder if they will eventually be added
I've been on lots of matches with players wearing parts of that bundle. The stuff in it is good... but not at that price. I fully understand it's a different game format to a paid game but it is disappointing to see this when the entire western world is in a financial squeeze. They'd sell more if the prices were lower instead a few at the higher prices.... I mean they can't run out of stock... it's a code to unlock the armour set. Drop the price, sell more, IMHO.
@1:44 I can't truly explain why, but I think that's been one of the biggest things that's always felt off about Infinite for me. Is the removal of team damage (except splattering for some reason) in standard play. I've actually loved having as a staple for Halo because it helps reduce explosive spam because you have to be mindful of your potential damage
@@danielespitia1776i mean u had to buy the game halo infinite multiplayer is free so u have access to all gameplay things for $0 and if u want cosmetics that have no effect on gameplay spend ten bucks and u get alot no defense for the store tho that shits ridiculous
Feels like that for the last 2 years we've been playing a beta and seeing it grow. To be fair, it makes me happy how fun the game actually is and how many good memories we've made :')
One thing 343 has yet to do is learn how to market this franchise. What happened to double xp weekends? What happened to playlist challenges like mythic ffa? Why aren't we getting another big community ffa tournament like we had in halo 4? So many missed opportunities to pull people from twitter, reddit, steam, etc and give incentive to play Halo Infinite.
I want the next halo to follow Buck and his squad. Also, with the squad control style of halo 5. Imagine having Buck, Romeo, Dutch, Gretchen and that dirty traitor Mickey.
Ain't no way The Forge Falcons almighty have been blessed with an appearance in a Halo Infinite trailer. I swear, as much as it sucks to be a Halo fan right now, there are still reasons to be one and reasons to still love the franchise. This is up there
Amazing trailer! This makes me excited for Halo Infinite's future, especially with the match composer. Btw, it was great playing with you the past couple days in BTB Heavies!
Looks like a trailer for the completed version of the game but also as a way to essentially relaunch it imo, such a big trailer usually drops for a new release and not a nearly three year old game, but that's getting my hopes up.
This is what should have been released as a full “complete” game, I wish 343 still included content like new weapons, vehicles, forge content, and Spartan armor cores or even a campaign expansion. Infinite had a lot of potential that was wasted due to poor management, but it's clear that 343 will focus its efforts on the next Halo in development from now on. On multiplayer they could still bring back other mode games like Warzone or Griffball. Still, I'm glad that the game is better than before 3 years ago. I hope it continues to attract more players to play until the next Halo game.
Halo Infinite has been my favorite fps since it launched. Even with the unfinished state it launched in, I've had nothing but fun playing it (1639.1 hours playtime). I'm glad people criticize it, because it helps the developers push it in the right direction, but I feel like people have hated on it too much. It's in such a great state now, and I hope they continue to add dev maps and playlists going forward. My biggest complaint is the lack of a map voting system. Add this and I'm happy slappy.
They haven't announced they're moving on have they ? I know they are hiring for the next game but no announcement... It's not hard to read between the lines but I don't think anyone has said it's over.
It's good to see a finalized trailer and all but after 3 years... the textures and weird map and weapon decisions are almost unforgiving. They just didn't really actually do much at all. I still feel like I'm kind of playing like a Beta in a way. XP system still broken, no post/pre-game lobbies, barebone events, etc. .. I just hope they add more and fix more from here. No matter what they do, I don't think they can fully elevate any more hype than what has died.
This is the what I wanted at launch lol seems like progression has finally been fixed. Might have to finally get into this game like I wanted to after I finished the campaign years ago.
I would like to see a voting system on the home screen for changes. For example, buff the pistol yes or no. Can we use the halo 5/H2a weapon model so we can import the plasma caster, Carbine faster yes/no. Should we prioritize more body types/aggressive armor morphs that make Spartans less androgynous or animated visors. Revenant or Specter import first ECT... An additional 50% off on top of the fake discount all items the first two weeks of the PS5 launch could really help with funding the game too.
The new halo game needs to have their opening trailer be exactly like this. We can’t have this type of content come out years later. Halo has so much potential and we need complete content from the get go. Then anything extra like dlc should be icing on the cake. I’m still excited for halos future and find its way back to the top of the mountain
