Assuming the cardboard is not contaminated with metals, where (from which source) would the growing mushrooms get their minerals from? There is none in the air and I assume the spray you use is just water. Surely mushrooms must have some minerals?
Beautiful. Cardboard is also great soaked and mulched into compost, especially vermicompost. When I vermicompost it, I leave it in larger sections that I perforate and layer between leaves, grass clippings, kitchen waste and dried poultry manure: Worms and castings like you have never seen.
Very good tip. Usually we use fallen tree branches for mushroom growing plus your idea is also good for recycling. I use old boxes as base for my plant pots. Cheers!
Psychedelics definitely has potential to deal with health issues like anxiety and depression , I would like to try them but it's hard to source them here

Если грибы выросли на дереве, или на шелухе подсолнечника считаю грибы хорошие.А на картоне думаю плохо Картон переработан с макулатуры с добавлением клея. Это моё мнение.

Have you considered soaking the one-gallon containers, and having good drainage holes in the bottom? I wonder if that would help your production level.
good video, sets expectations well. I use about 2 pounds of mushrooms a week so I would need about twice as much. I been wondering if after each flush if I introduced fresh medium could I keep it producing continuously?
i don't know from experience, but oysters are fairly aggressive so i would think so, or you could reuse the spent medium by crumbling it into the new medium if it doesn't show signs of contamination
It is call spawn or mycelium I would like to know out long the fruit keeps products in that plastic bottle like a plastic fruiting bag it products 3 to 4 months it is how you take care of the fruiting bag but nice Ideal on the plastic bottle
*Hey I'll refer you to this dude online who guided me through my first ever experience,he got all kinds of psychedelic stuffs and he also ship discreetly to any location**
I want to ask, did you just put the container in that place till the mushrooms come out? Like, you didn't put the container in a dark place. Or it is because of the kind of mushroom you put
Question: what do you do to the colony when all cardboard eated? Do you relocat it to fresh cardboard or tossed? How lond a colony can survive in a container like you have (1 year or 2)? Thank you. Nice video.

Thank you that’s an excellent video and idea! I’m wondering if I can just buy the mushrooms from the shop and use them to seed the cardboard? Any information you can provide would be greatly appreciated thanks. 👍🏻
Yes you just need a nice ripe mushroom. Chop it into chunks, put the chunks in a blender and pour in water to cover the pieces. Run the blender. Then you'll have a mixture that contains the spores that were inside the mushroom. Then sterilize your grow media (cardboard, straw, mulched leaves, etc) by boiling it and discard the water. If you're using cardboard you might have to layer it, but with straw you can just mix the mushroom stuff into the straw. Then just do the rest like in the video.
@@TheRealJBMcMunn thanks very much for your help. I take it that you’ve tried this. I’d love to have a ready supply of mushrooms. Once again thank you so much. 👍🏻
I bought an oyster mushroom kit, after first harvest, then had a few small shoots but stopped growing. I didn't have an outdoor room with indirect light unfortunately, so I only keep the container indoors maybe that's why
A small lamp on a timer with a low-watt bulb in the same room might help provide something like indirect light. This method is sometimes used to get P. cubensis to fruit better.
Shrooms microdosing helped me overcome my life long addiction to cigarettes and alcohol, I just relocated and they're so hard to come by here, I really need to buy some
Problem is, you dont know what poisons were in that cardboard. Its usually recycled and can contain things like heavy metals, sulphur, plumbum, residue from colors and many more unhealthy things. And mushrooms have ability to take such thinks and concentrate them in mushroom.
If youre worried about heavy metals in cardboard check out Consumer Reports test for heavy metals in spices. Makes me want to grow my own. FWIW I have a leaf blower that can vacuum up leaves into a bag. It chops them up as they go through the propeller blade. I bag it up and store it. A lawn mower eith a grass catcher would work too. Do some research. Mushrooms will grow on a lot of things. I have a lot of trees and when branches fall off pr I trim them off i drill holes in it and pack it with mycelium. Shiitakes love it.
@@TheRealJBMcMunn Am growint them on straw pellets. Originally mentioned as bedding for horses. Oysters grow pretty well on it and am just trying to grow more advanced species. (have, or better say BUILD lanimar box, with workspace 60*75*70 cm :) 2 days ago innoculated fosrt batch in clean air. From sterilizer to clean air, than put lid.. Now waiting reault, if that thing works, or it get mold.
That is what the boiling is for. As long as you work with clean hands and clean equipment after boiling the cardboard there should be no contamination and you wring out most of the moisture so mold doesn't grow
Problema ko kung saan makakabili ng mga sawdust at problema ko naman sa tindahan ko mga karton eto na pala ang solusyon ko sa problema ko thank you LORD 😊
