I never eat raw chicken, I'm Japanese though.

A great interview. It was very interesting to hear about what was learnt after living for 9 years in Japan. Too bad EVO was a little noisy.

It's so interesting to hear everyone's experiences between cultures they've been immersed in! One's environment definitely influences their behavior, and I've definitely picked up a lot of reverse culture shock after being abroad for a while. 空気を読む has definitely been a lovely adaptation I've picked up from living in Japan, but as you said, I CAN take it a little overboard, having represented and socialized through my life as a lady 😅

I wish Kathy Kay would meet and chant Uyen Ninh “German boyfriend”. That would be funny collaborating

This was very interesting. The audio was a bit thin but still audible. It sounds like the mic was out of phase. BTW Cathy, you have a perfect nose and a great profile! ❣

Great cosplay. You can't stay somewhere that long without subconsciously adapting some of the customs into your natural way of being.

I think the handheld mic wasn’t on and the audio is coming from the camera. Very compressed and a lot of background. But thanks for the fun interview!

I think they didn't discover that until after it was recorded and had to raise the levels a lot in post.

Audio from the camera mic, not the handheld mic in front of her face. I don't know why this is such a common occurrence in RU-vid content.

It's not a Japan thing where people don't want to help or interfere in situations. Here in Toronto, it's the same. Though you could argue that it's more dangerous in North America in general and interfering in certain situations could get you seriously hurt or killed. Sad state of the world, really.

It sounds like they recorded from the wrong microphone (maybe the camera's mic), and ran it through some post-processing editing to enhance voices and reduce background noise, to at least get something usable.

Thanks! Cathy Cat 🐱 good interview i’m sure that no matter how weird you or your friend think you are forget about it lol 😂 i live in the States and NY State so when the going gets weird the weird turn pro and i would think that after 9 or 10 years of living in Japan 🇯🇵 you would have difficulty expressing anything to English speaking people cause the thinking is different , have a great day people you’re great 👍
