Having owned multiple GT3s, GT4RS and currently a 991.2 3RS … a 997 Aerokit car is what I have been chasing for some time to do this exact build. Hard to describe how good these cars are. Congrats to Kevin. I’ve seen his posts on Rennlist looking for an aerokit car. Glad he finally had it all come together. Having a 997 factory aero car is a big IYKYK flex in the pcar community. There is a reason these are shooting up in value.

TJ if you see this take my advice. Buy a Venom induction heater. Dillion wouldn’t have snapped either of those bolts and will save you hours of struggle and heartache. It will heat your bolts up to a glowing temperature in about 20 seconds and come out with ease.

Note to Kevin: You don't have to be in the garage every day for your friends to appreciate you. Sometimes is just about presence you have when you are there. As a viewer I can say we all feel when you are in the vids and how you impact the team as whole. So take it from me watching it 1000 miles aways from a screen. One of the main reasons I still own my 997.1 C4S after 15 years is because of how good it still is. Even when comparing to the latest and greatest from Porsche. The new cars are so good, capable, and fast, that you almost have to be breaking every speed law to really start enjoying them. Whereas the older 997 generation feels exciting and fun when driving slow or fast. Congrats on all the mods Kevin. TJ, you are a class act and a very generous friend. Blessed so you can be a blessing to others. Keep up the great work. 👍🏼👍🏼

This is such a nice thing to do. My Uncle passed a little over a month ago. He has one of these sat in his garage thats hes had for many years and built and kept going with his own hands. Im currently assisting my Grandad with trying to sell his late brothers Porsche as unfortunately its not something we can afford to keep. Believe me, if I had the money I would love to be able to buy the car and keep it in the family but its just not something im in the position to do at my age. Its low milage and has a lot of potential, seeing this has opened my eyes to what could have been but thankyou for posting this car!

The difference in pins is due to dual stage airbag vs single stage. It will still work in the 997
