My teacher and I were both geniuses. He sent a report stating that my handwriting was awful. My mum sent a reply stating that she could barely understand what he was saying as his handwriting was so awful 😂
You’re a genius if... 10: If you can admit that you’re bad at some things 9: If you wear the same clothes everyday 8: If you can feel what others are thinking 7: If you can control yourself 6: If your eyes are blue ( what??) 5: If you’re a chocolate lover ( yum 😋) 4: When you’re upset you know what’s bothering you 3: If you talk to yourself 2: If you can’t stand any background noises 1: If your handwriting is messy You’re welcome
All of the above is me except for the blue eyes But my handwriting is beautiful except for the fact that some can't understand cursive. Thus not my problem 😂
Probably the easiest way to get over something that bothers you, is to just not think about it because if you stop thinking about it you will forget what bothers you. And then don't try to remember what bothered you in the first place.

I understate myself on purpose. It's to see how much I can learn from anything. If I act to be too smart, many won't give me a chance. I want to be loved by people who can teach me something, rather than being right. You don't grow in those ways.
Many intelligent people prefer comfort over fashion. Wearing comfortable clothes is important otherwise your brain and body is distracted to the point where you can’t think effectively
messy handwriting, so true. creative people dont have the pleasure of writing slowing because they have so much in their heads than their hands can write.
Yep. Definitely can agree. My closet two friends and I all have messy hand writing and we are all creative. We like to spend time drawing and coming up with stories lol.
My psychology professor in college told me, with the whole class listening, that I could never be an accountant with my horrible handwriting. I am still a practicing CPA.
And then I was here thinking that my messy handwriting was... not good. Well, guess I'm not a genius now :( My writing has drastically changed... Well, I write slow sometimes because I don't like to mess up my words because my friends EXPECT me to write neat, so do my teachers... It's pressuring but I believe it's my fault since I was the one who wanted to turn my writing neat. But thanks for describing...
@Moo 80 percent of the human world has brown eyes. That's basically most of the fucking Earth we live on. But hey! There might be people out there with blue eyes, AND, they might be intelligent! No, we can't have that. It's racist! FUCKS SAKE!
Honestly only very rarely will you ever meet a properly intelligent person, even harder to meet a genius, sometimes I think these videos are popular because of the fantasy of being better then the average bear
While I agree that many normal people probably think they are geniuses after watching these kinds of videos, I have seen others that seem to have many similar arguments for why someone could be highly intelligent. I must say that I find myself having almost all of the traits in this video, and I will admit that it is a bit of a confidence boost, I know that I am probably not a genius. I think when people watch this kind of stuff, they should not only count how many of the traits they have, but also reflect on to which degree they have them. Take me for example: I talk to myself much more than anyone else I know, but not all the time. I am also a chocolate lover, but I do not eat it more than once or twice a week. If people started thinking this way, their conclusion would most likely be that their are not geniuses, because geniuses are people who would have these traits to an exceptional degree. But that is okay, not everyone has to be Elon Musk.
Matthew Vu you’re right. I don’t get why i even click on these videos anymore, they’re probably full of lies, also i want to be equally good as everyone else is
Depends on what they are genius at, they could come across as a complete idiot yet be a musical or artist genius, eveyone is a genius at something, it's just a case of finding what it is your a genius at, most people don't.
That should just be a common sense thing, but sadly not many people do think for themselves (at least in today’s society). Peoples perception of certain topics are easily influenced for the simple fact of they do not do their own research.
Quite a few good ones here. Not mentioned here is that intelligent people tend to have a developed sense of humor; they see humor where others do not. They don't sweat the small stuff either, they tend to have a sense of perspective and are capable of stepping back when they feel too involved Also intelligent people tend to do a lot of writing, journaling out their ideas to organize their thoughts. This is a very underused, but super effective technique.
I knew someone who had a very high I.Q. but had little to no sense of humor. So, this doesn't always apply. He also had very few social skills. Maybe he was just a savant.
On the sense of humour note...my counsellor in school said I had "a good grasp of the absurd". I used to draw my own ridiculous cartoons...and I would be the only one really laughing... I don't have blue eyes, though. But I had to laugh at the wearing the same clothes and the messy handwriting. Me to a T.
I have gotten through half of this video and heard the blue eyed research. I am here to tell you that it is this type of thinking that led partly to the superior race movement. Although the research "led to this conclusion" we must dig deeper and study HOW the research was done, if there were pre conclusions predicted, and what kind of testing was done in the research. This kind of thinking can be dangerous IMO.

Just a thought about blue eyes. During my Nurse degree training I spent a month at a very large dementia facility and was struck by how the overwhelming majority of residents had blue eyes. Is it possible to be super smart and still go mad? I'm convinced yes.
I think genius people are detached to some degree, and a bit socially awkward as well. Many may even appear eccentric, talk to themselves, become obsessive with certain tasks, and prefer to be alone with their thoughts. They think outside the box and are creative. I've known a few geniuses and I find them facinating. Maybe it's because I can relate to their flow of thinking. I would say most on the list I line up with except I'm not obsessed in wearing just one clothing day after day, even though I have because I like an outfit. More like, I would have to wear something unique everytime more than anything. I have blue eyes... I remember my father tellling me that intelligent people had blue eyes. I actually found that offensive for those who had brown or green eyes. Genius people are intriguing to talk with. They always have something to say that will make you think. As for me... I've come to realize I still have so much to learn and know very little compared to others.

I had always thought that I wasn't more intelligent than most people as I was raised by people who made me feel I was dumb. As I grew up and went to school, my teachers always picked me to go to contests and I always scored 1st and 2nd place. In elementary and middle school I was the first place. When I was in 9th grade when I dropped out and went to get GED after years. It took me 6 weeks to get it. Later I was in few selection processes for different jobs in which there was a training and I was always selected. First time I was selected along with another lady out of 26, second time 1 out of 12, last time 10 out of 98. I still feel that I was lucky, this is how our childhood affects us. 🤷🏻♀️
I got also samekinda story. I got adhd and they make that diagnose me to around 1988 when that was MBD. Nobody know anything about adhd and i have grow up that i am stupid. My life are mostly chained failure. Because i got so much things for my life and my brain are mess i have start do my own philosophy. Now people wont say that i am at wrong or right, they just ignored em when i write at life and how survival different situation. My IQ is littlebit better than avarge, nothing special. and now i watch these videos to get answer that, are they all was wrong or what?
@@Moukarimies1 I also have adhd and people tend to judge you on the way you handle things. They are comparing your situation to that of themselves which is the equilavent of judging a fish by its ability to climb a tree. lots of people will misunderstand you and you have to learn to not take it personally even though its hard sometimes. people only see the negatives when looking at a situation and routine tasks are hard for us to do since they dont have any meaning but we get judged on our weaknesses thus we are made to feel dumb. Most people with adhd are more sensitive and emotional. Youre not only more sensitive to your own needs by being more sensitive but also the needs of others which is part of your emotional intelligence and that is also related to IQ. For me my emotional intelligence turned out to be a strenght after I knew how to use them as such. On the other hand not putting effort in your emotional well being is very damaging for adhders since not being able to regulate or control your emotions is well pretty bad

maybe, maybe not. Just an alernative train of thought: Light hair, skin, and eyes developed so that people living in super-cold areas could get more sun on their skin to create vitamin D. Cold areas are far harder to live in than warm areas, and require far more planning and creativity to keep the body warm, build shelter that can last with 4' of snow on the roof, to store food for and garden in only 5 or 6 (or less) months of the year, to find ways to walk and travel in snow without sinking or getting lost. Only those with above-average intelligence could survive. The others starved to death and/or froze to death. I'd bet those with high IQs with brown eyes are more likely to have lighter hair and eyes as a recessive gene.
There were a few flawed statements, like talking to yourself. That's actually a characteristic of ADHD which does bring creative genius with it. Doesn't mean all genius people talk to themselves, it means you have a developmental delay because children talk to themselves and people with ADHD never stopped.
And the low tolerance for loud noises is a common characteristic of autism, which also frequently accompanies genius intelligence. Charles Darwin was a known autistic. Again, doesn't mean all geniuses are autistic.
It seems that I have a lot of these signs, but #1 really struck me the most. It looks like the sample shows cursive is mixed with regular lettering. I started doing that by the 3rd grade, and I got a lot of grief over it. My hand writing was neat, but I tended to find it faster to not think about the letters much. That was back when they taught cursive writing in school; nowadays people are so used to texting or writing like they are still in kindergarten that it is a technique that is on the verge of totally disappearing. It isn't mentioned, but I used to doodle in the margins of my notebooks and I was wondering if it is also a sign that I understood what the teacher was saying a lot sooner than most of my classmates.
Years ago I was told that those with a high IQ tend to doodle a lot. I would doodle all over my papers and notebooks in school while the teachers taught. The "special" Dr who first tested my IQ told my parents they should have me advanced by at least 1-2 grades (I was in 2nd grade). My Mom was all for it but our Father wanted me to be with kids my age.
When I write especially numbers I can’t do it in a straight line for some reason. Even if I have margins I still can’t write straight it just seems to curve as I write down the page! It’s really weird and my dad would get frustrated because he could write in a straight line without margins and I can’t do it even with margins and it would drive him crazy

Being emotionally mature and responsable are some traits of inteligence. Among these are having a introverted personality, your eye color, hand writting or wether you're left-handed or not. Introverts actually have the chances of having a high IQ because they don't waste time socializing. They improve themself
I am an architect trained in the late 70’s well before AutoCad. We were trained to write in an architectural style and were required to submit our engineering class notes re-written on graph paper which became part of our class grade. The school only accepted 10% of applicants and only 25% of those who were accepted actually graduated. I suspect that most of us were of above average intelligence. I think sloppy writing can be attributed to both intelligent people as well as low intelligence lazy people and is not a viable indicator of intelligence.
In my Opinion most Intelligent people who are bad at writing are either autistic, don't put efforts Into there writing unless it's something important have a photographic memory & can most likely recall what they wrote have good analytical processing abilities & so can read there hand writing or just have sloppy hand writing/ possible Injuries hindering there movement
Very interesting observation! I try to emulate the non cursive printing we often see on architectural designs when plotting home renovations to tube amplification modification But I use a fountain pen and write out my thoughts using cursive as a way to force a formulation that is concise. The handwriting is fascinating to look at but often decipherable by everyone including myself. AutoCad is wonderful, but I think those who learned in a more traditional way reap the benefit of consideration because of the time it takes.

Genius people don’t get upset because they know eye color has little do with intelligence and more to do with genes lol (probability) you can have certain eye colors that claim you are “smart” but still be stupid lol. You cannot simply limit intelligence to a few factors when in fact intelligence is derived from a multitude of factors. Eye color is not a good way to tell intelligence (or at least a credible/proven way)

I used to struggle with not knowing why I was upset when I was young, but the older I got the more I realized it's not that I don't know what it's that I don't know how to tell someone about it. Sometimes I have difficulty articulating what's going on. 3. I MOST DEFINITELY talk to myself. I have since I was a child and continue to do so to this day. 2. 'blue eyes?!' Sounds dangerous. See scientific study where researchers told learners brown eyes shows intelligence, and then tested them afterwards. They did far better than the blue-eyed children. And when they told the blue-eyed children the same, the latter did better than the blue-eyed ones.
I'm not affirming if any of this is true. However, I think the larger point of this, if they are in fact true, is that it is not these traits that make the genius, but rather, it has been noted that many geniuses posess these traits. It's not to say that these traits are what caused them to be a genius. Big difference.

Straight As just mean that you can absorb and regurgitate factual knowledge well. The institutions will tell you that straight As mean you are smart coz they don't want YOU outshining them, or worse still, wandering out of their control. True genius shows itself when you can see facts behind or between a group of facts, or connections between knowledge that has been previously unseen. For example, everyone well knew about time, gravity and space, but it took Einstein to see the connection between them... only a fearlessly creative mind would think so far outside à box that they now stood in places that others had never been, and therefore saw the outside of the box itself! And the best part is, one can actually TEACH THEIR OWN MIND to think in that way!!! You just gotta understand what it is you are aiming for, but you must also have a curious mind with a thirst for knowledge, for how can one make connections between nothings?!
@@muaythaiballerina6463 Thank you 😊 But you know what made me see that?!? Just like he saw the connections between time, space and gravity, his brain was criss-crossed over and over between the knowledge he had acquired in order to make these insightful connections that no-one else had made! The moment i realized the parallel, i said "Okay brain... YOU are going to do this and you are gonna look for and find connections between stuff from now on" and it didn't take long to see the results!!! 🤯😁 And if you think about it, it is almost the only way that we will move forward as a species from here at this stage... we have so much knowledge by now, but becoz everything is connected on a lower level, on a spiritual level, we must see these connections for ourselves in order to progress anymore atm. And i think that this insight is what is missing from the big minds of the institutions right now, so i am pointing it out to as many young ppl as i can, coz you guys are the ones who stand on our shoulders after we go 😊👍

In one particular instance, I took our professional certification exam in a group, timed, monitored setting, which consisted of 200 questions on paper with a separate answer sheet with the #2 pencil and the old fashioned "fill in the bubbles" set up. We had 4 hours (?) in which to turn it in. Forty minutes after beginning, I was turning in my paper and the proctor looked up at me quizically, and asked me if I had a question. I said, "No, I'm just turning in my paper, because I'm finshed." She asked me if I was sure I was ready to do that yet, and didn't I want to double check all my work before I did that? I said that I already had done all that, so, she looked up and said she had already forgotten what she was supposed to do next! I repeated back to her all the directions she had just given to the group about an hour ago, about how to handle finishing our work while others were still working, and she looked rather sheepish, and wished me good luck on the results, and to enjoy the rest of my day! I turned to gather up my folder and purse that were waiting for me at the front of the room on a large table by the whiteboard, as we all had been required to do before starting, and saw several other classmates staring at me jealously, and some from the class group from another program who had come to take the same exam we were taking, and didn't know me from Adam's house cat, look up at me like I had two heads, which I had become used to over my life. I smiled, nodded, and left to go out and enjoy the beautiful October late morning sunshine and brilliant blue sky, while sitting on a park bench to wait for the other students who I had provided rides to, since it was more efficient for the four of us to ride and park in one car instead of each one driving our own cars to a campus on the other side of town from our own. It took another 50 minutes for the next few students to emerge from the same classroom, and over an hour for all of the members to our little group to gather together again. This was a common occurrence, as I was always the one to turn in my work, and particularly test papers, before anyone else. I was also the one to grumble at the beginning of teaching videos, to "hurry up and get on with it" while we had to wait through all the opening credits and legal disclaimers, before getting down to the actual "meat of the matter" of the video in question! The first time that happened, in the darkened classroom, the instructor said, "I'm sure we know who said THAT!" while the rest of the class giggled. Yes, I've always been the one to grumble about "let's get ON with it!" when things seemed to drag instead of getting on with it! Yeah - btw, I only missed two questions out of the 200 on that test. 😎
@@dorianphilotheates3769 anyone can be 'better' than everyone else depending on how you define what it is they are 'better' at. A racecar driver is more intelligent than the average driver... but only at racecar driving. Words like 'intelligent' are often misnomers and used totally incorrectly or without full context. For example, I knew Obama was literally selected for president during his first run and told my friends and family this and that he was a Trojan Horse (he's not the only president who's been that but I immediately recognized-- calculating things and contrasting him with his three campaigners-- that he was pre-selected as president). Millions of Americans still voted for Obama. That makes me smarter than millions of Americans. Yes, at some things. People who voted for Obama also said he was 'intelligent'. Yes, if the ability to deceive and manipulate can be called 'intelligence'. Is it. Intelligence is fluid. I don't have to share mine because 'intelligence' isn't the 'god that the West makes it out to be. Everyone has it, so it in fact is nothing special. At all.
WindiGreens - Thanks for taking the time to respond to my thoroughly ridiculous statement. I was, of course, joking: the idea that blue eyes (or any other physical trait) may be a sign of intelligence is utterly preposterous. Even more preposterous is the idea that, even by the most charitable standards, Trump is intelligent (let alone the “genius” that many of his sycophants make him out to be). What you say largely makes good sense and I agree with most of it.
@@dorianphilotheates3769 your statement about Trump was where I knew you were being facetious. I wasn't sure about the rest but maybe what I wrote will help some gullible wanderer who thinks eye color actually determines intelligence.
In 2010 I told my dad . Let’s make portable t shirt makers , first weed delivery , start a lemonade stand , RU-vid vids of me reviewing air soft guns , wwe action figures , show restoration!!I wrote a list of ideas and it hurts so much because 10 years old in 2010 if I would have did all of those . Bro . I would have been a millionaire. Idk that ^ comment reminded me of how being let down sucks
I have dark brown eyes. In many videos they says people who have blue eyes they are genius, in some videos they say people who have brown eyes they are intelligent. Again in some videos they says people who have dark brown eyes they are unique. So I am confused 😅
Woah...Chocolate is so good. If u don't like it, you're missing out on something amazing! And don't call yourself a dumbo u must be a really smart person.
Everyone here is talking about the “Blue Eyes” point, and I’m here wondering how liking chocolate makes you a genius? So consuming an addicting product that anyone will like, makes you a genius?
They are some real good points, but isn't it funny how everyone got distracted by the blue eyes point whether consciously or selectively consciously? Yet It could be placed there purposely huh
My writing is quite messy, every time I use different Pen. It changes it's way, none could even recognize my writing if I use other people's pen. That's quite a problem
