Love the commentary... Maaagnificent I think the Batting order is the problem. Shareef is the best opener by far, he at least puts the bowlers under pressure. Tyler should open, yogi and George (can’t do it all) should be 5&6 when the spin is in play. Simon not playing is massive. Sures up the batting and gets poles. Early days yet !

Already a fan of watching Shakhar Sobers bat (first time seeing him). Would be nice to see someone at the top bat through for a long innings though!

Would like to see the boys knuckle down in the first 10-15 overs and just bat some time out doesn’t matter if you only make 20 runs! The two boys put on a 50 run partnership playing straight and without a lot of risk

Having been in a few bottom of the league sides, getting out of a losing rut and picking up confidence from somewhere is so hard. Can not fault a lot of the bowling here which is usually good, it’s a shame everybody seems to be out of form at the same time with the bat.

First team are a shambles. The constant changing of the side and the batting order does not help. George is not a captain and it's clearly affecting is form. I feel he needs to resign and maybe Tyler take over to have any chance of staying up

Last season our team were all out for 103 then bowled the opposition out for 93 just goes to show anything can happen - 1sts need to go on a run soon or it’s going to get difficult at the bottom

Under 14s game back in 1993 with my then-new club, I came in to bat when we were 7/40-odd. I smacked a 30no with 7 fours, to push the total to 80-odd all out. Our opening bowlers then proceeded to clean them up for 50. I won the McDonald’s voucher. My career highlight.

Re: the miracle games, I can't seem to remember one from senior cricket, but at U13's level, I remember a game that was a top of the table "clash" against the side we would beat in the return fixture and secure a league victory in the process, where we scored 110 in our 20 overs, they were 82-0 after 14. One run-out to trigger a batting collapse and 4 overs later, they were 92 all out. Really astonishing. Equally astonishing to me are the negative comments from people here. At the end of the day, the guys and girls of Sanderstead don't have to put these highlights up for us all to view and enjoy, as many of us do every weekend, so be a bit more damn respectful and put all of your keyboard warrior alter-egos to bed, where they belong.

Awesome stuff by the Sandeep just bowling gentle mediums hitting his line and lengths fantastic. Where was Sam today Day? I gather Simon is recovering from his injury but the way Sandeep bowled Simon might be in the 2s when fit!! The bigger question is what has Longcock done not too be selected in the 1XI? Has he chosen only too play 2s?

A bit unlucky here and there, but definitely need to keep the head down with the bat. Grinding out a few extra runs isn't fun for the highlights but it wins games!

June 1997 we were 31 for 9 when I went in at number 11.....I milked the strike and hit 11 sixes and 3 fours in 102 not out, we got to 153 all out and bowled Hatherleigh out for 45.....Holsworhty with a big win in the end......

Heads up Sanderstead had a few challenging seasons myself over my career and as long as you stay together results will change. Love the channel and its now a routine to catch up on your weekends action over a Monday morning coffee. As for the negative comments regarding Sheeref i have no doubt you got to where you are and where you have been ( played some Surrey level I believe) through being an aggressive batsmen so why would you now change if its proved successful for you in the past?? Would be great for your club to have a top order to build an innings around but hey how many of us have the ideal team etc . Keep going lad

We once played a 50 over game and got bowled out for 76. And we won that game with 27 runs.

To many negative comments! One win and the season can turn around in an instance boys! Shareef is pure class end of discussion.

Didn’t go well for Rodley 1s today won the toss elected to bowl first great Preston 235 of their 50 overs in reply Rodley 1s 58 all out the twos lost as well by over 100 runs but in consolation the side I play for the 3rds won so happy days

I've played in a game where we've been bowled out for a 100 they loose the first wicket for 50 and we bowl them out for 90 it was a semi final aswell amazing game

Real shame about the result. I’m sure it’ll improve, sneak a win and it’s amazing what can happen. On another note, what sort of pace does Jackson bowl? He’s got to be just about the fastest in the league?

Didnt have a lot of luck in the top 5, wasnt just bad shots. There was a strangle down the leg side and a run out at the bowlers end, tipped off the bowlers hand that were very unlucky. Seems to happen when the team are having a rough trot.

I feel bad for the "armchair judges" getting a bit harsh on Shareef... Cricket is after all a total batting score of 11 players. However don't react to it personally, take it as a compliment! It's obvious that everyone is impressed by your natural ability and obvious hard work on your technique and know that you could be a really formidable batsman! Don't let this sort of negativity affect you in a bad way! Reacting might help you vent a little but I would say keep it stored up for practice and unleash it there and then keep the doubters and haters quiet on match days hitting the 50s and 100s we can all see are waiting to come out!

Happy Birthday Shareef. First of all, You are talented but also a slightly selfish batsman. You have all the tools to be a match winner but You can only be a match winner if You spend time at the wicket and not going for the glory every match and getting out. You say in the comments to people giving You stick you will smash them in the net and make them eat there words. Just take it on the chin mate, instead of talking crap back prove them wrong. Before You tell me to shut up and I don’t know what I’m talking about. I’ve played decent enough standard and am qualified level 3 coach. Maybe it’s not all about you being the match winner and smashing the bowlers, maybe take the back seat and rotate the strike instead of one too many big hits. For Tyler: Maybe concentrate more on Your batting then worrying about the camera being on You. Again talented but talent only takes You so far. Jackson: You need to open the bowling. Please don’t think You aren’t getting wickets because You are too quick (as it’s been mentioned in the comments), it’s because You are bowling the wrong line and length with Your pace at that standard. (Pretty obvious Your a very talented guy). Slight change will make a lot of difference, like using your crease to make angles etc. I hope this does not come across negative just thought I’d put something constructive on here rather then troll someone. Peace .

Safe to say this year you have 2 sides promoted that are decent div 2 sides and lost 2 teams that are not good enough last season. Safe to say this Sanderstead can’t put a score up to defend and a score to chase down. I don’t know wether it’s really bad form considering Bank of England and Oxted look different to last year I don’t know if you lot are making teams look better than what they are or just not good enough this year with competition! Totally different to last year where has the form gone!? :(
