Survey Says: Church Model Is Outdated -- 2/2 

I wonder whether it's possible to do "mega" church well. I've been on a Jordan Peterson binge the last month, and heard some comments he made on the incompetence of big government and big business. The basic problem is that they are BIG. We belong to a small church; it's really not much more than a decent sized small group. But it's the tightest, closest, most honest and open church we've been a part of. I sense that the *fad* of the megachurch has or is passing away. It seems to me that if one wants an authentic church, with authentic ministry and community and spiritual experience, you've got to go small. And breaking a 2,000-member megachurch into small groups doesn't quite do it, because the small groups are usually just options. Most of the 2,000 typically aren't involved in small groups.
