This is a quick update to talk about my experience of going thru a 11-hour red-eye flight with the injured leg.
Hey it's Yulong. I am making a series of videos to document things I learned from my Achilles Tendon rupture that I didn't see anywhere else mentioned. I got a lot of useful information and mental support from videos of other rupture patients so I wanna do the same, hoping my videos could help others too.

My timeline (2023):
1/17 - Injury
1/24 - Surgery
2/7 - Switch from splint to cast
2/17 - Switch from cast to vacoped
3/14 - Reach neutral in boot and barefoot
3/26 - Switch from boot to regular shoes at home
4/5 - Able to do double leg calf raise with no assistance
4/10 - Ditch heel lifts in the regular shoes
4/27 - Signs of a possible tendonitis
5/2 - doctor confirmed I do not have tendonitis
6/6 - international travel
