Maybe it's just me, but it seems like that plane was aimed down and crashed *deliberately!* If so...why? If he wanted to be on the island, couldn't he have just landed normally and tied the plane to the shore? It would've provided some extra supplies *and* a safe, sheltered place to sleep. Also, rope needs to be easier to make early on, because you need it very soon and the game only gives you one portion of it to make that first stone axe. The special yuca leaves you need to make more are difficult to get. I stopped playing for a few reasons, but one of the biggest was that despite my searching, I just could never get those yuca leaves to make more rope. So once my axe wore out, no more chopping down trees, meaning no more coconuts, meaning no more water to drink. So if the damn komodo dragons didn't kill me first (they should *not* be on the "beginning" island!), I'd soon expire from dehydration. Very frustrating!

So to start, I think that may have been something pulling to the island. This game is supposed to have taken some influence from the show Lost, so that would stand to reason. Second, there are better ways of dealing with dehydration. Coconuts are good at first, but you will want to build a water collector ASAP. Last, imo the komodo on the beginning island isn't a huge issue. He seems to be fairly easy to avoid as he tends to just patrol that one area.

You need to get yuca and build the wheel and make rope before anything on this island there is zero chest 😅😅 but good you manage to make a knife game is great waiting for this game so far I love it.

Because it's a Playtest....Aka alpha testing....it's not in early access yet which means you get either x amount of hours to play or x amount of progression to play till it boots you out...once the game is in early access stage you can purchase it

Think of playtest alpha testing, and early access as beta testing....before days of steam all developers would have select players they would give a download able tester version of game, and then the tester would have to fill out pages upon pages of documentation about the game/level they were testing, they would have to sign a nda.....some developers give out keys for streamerss to play and give feedback while simultaneously getting free advertisements for their project

Seen it all, played alot of them survivals.... Is there something unique to it or just trying to copy the greats? sry but if its Early Access with years to develop (like every other survival game) i dont think it will survive for me - pun intended but Unreal Engine and its bloom and blur setting is probably enougth to keep gamers gamin'

It is fine if they want to introduce spiders to the game. But wolf spiders and black widows don't chase people while hissing. I'd prefer they make critters behave as they would in the wild.

I'm fairly certain the hissing is strictly to give the player some kind of warning to keep things a little more manageable. Green Hell did a similar thing.

Just be cautious - the developer abandoned his first game (Tech Corp), left a buggy mess. I like the looks, but I will wait if it is playable and how much content there is before I buy it.

Fun fact: the icon on the top of the screen will tell you what tool you need to harvest things like potatoes and ore. Also i seriously hope they do a pass on optimizing the foliage before they drop this to early access. It doesnt look so bad on the playback but jeez its so bad in game sometimes i have to take a break playing cause the terrible frames cause motion sickness for me after a while. Im running a 4090 so i can imagine the steam reviews being plastered with 10fps max bad reviews if they dont do something about it. 😂

@@shaheryar8603 i had it before the demo. It changed to a demo and I died and it spawned back to maybe last save but when i saved after it kept making me go back to the save before and the work I did after I saved was not saved.

He shouldn't have turned the tape off. Apparently that was keeping the plane in the air. Why does the guy on the tape sound like a Pirate from the 1500's. This is the game with the annoying effects. Always looks out of focus. Weird colour grading. I wouldn't play this, it will give you a head ache.
