I tend to not to comment on videos but I just wanna say thank you so much for making content like this, it's such a breath of fresh air from the usual slop on RU-vid now and feels comfy just like the golden days of the site. Your 404 challenge videos even inspired me to start playing Beta MC and I've been having a ton of fun, so thank you for that!

thank you for toning down the editing! i honestly kinda like the confusion and not over relying on the wiki. its fun to see people learn slowly on their own and from comments ambrosia: you can eat these hold space when you land in singly deep water to avoid fall damage. they changed this in the newer versions, i'm pretty sure, but in 1.7.3, you have to hold space. might be the same for clouds, too i feel like holding shift while on the bouncy clouds should make you stop bouncing? i'm not sure you should get some parachutes for safety quicksand and the bouncy clouds can be used for some portal 2 type traversal (use parachutes at the apex of your jump to go farther and survive the fall. or maybe use the parachute later? it might negate your horizontal speed. i'm not sure.) maybe you could get a bow or some kind of ranged weaponry to deal with zephyrs?
I'm a bit late, I haven't commented in a while, but I love how on the last episode of the 404 challenge you made that transition into this series. I would also love to see you make a nice little village in the aether it would look so nice.
That was a bit painful to watch, seeing you dying and losing your stuff so often, honestly, but I guess that's part of the experience. Keep it up, I'm looking forward to the next episode!

Moas are real birds that lived in New Zealand and are now excited. I think you need an incubator but I can't remember how to get it, I'm going off memory bases on let's plays I saw as a kid. I also think there's three colours. The rarer ones let you fly for longer. You came across a white one so I'm assuming that's the middle rarity. Also sorry for this comment being in to parts. Mobile browser is glitchy
skyroot axe, holystone hoe, three zanite pick, gravitite sword and shovel or gravitite pick and two zanite swords. Zanite does more damage and possibly minespeed the lower the durability. Heavy blocks are mined with pickaxes. Those are my only hints thus far to prevent spoilers. Oh, and stockpile quicksand for speedy pathways.
