Excellent tips. I have a pair of boots with no laces (zippers ok the side) to keep air from my feet. I also have thick socks that I wear.

I once owned a 1981 yamaha TT250 dirt bike 'it had factory fitted plastic hand guards ' those with gloves ' were really effective at keeping your hands warm ' if you keep that high speed cold wind off your fingers 'that's about all you need . Even better 'use a car when it's cold .

I use the battery operated gear so I can also use them while doing other things like shoveling snow,walking etc

Great tips. Heated gear is a game changer when Temps dip below 40 degrees. Above that I generally just use layers. Ride safe and peace ✌️ 👊👍🇺🇸

Hey -I tried harn warmes in my gloves - Idea was to place them on top of the hands to warm circulation while in the glove. The hand warmers could have worked, but were too large, and burned my hands instead - The Vest, I use a battery version which last a few hours. My Chaps are not heated, but along with long underwear etc are good. I always wear a leather jacket. Need to get rain gear, but have a refelective vest over the leather - Biggest problem I have in cold weather are carburetors and starting a vintage Japanese bike. She is as fussy as a ferrari sometimes -

Like everyone says, plug in heated gear, grips and seat heat pad. Layers too and a full face helmet. Drink hot tea or coffee when you have a break. And a tall windscreen / windshield / fairing helps a lot too.

Thank you for another fabulous video, riding in cold weather is not for everybody but I ride all seasons and the coldest I been out was 19 degrees, but I wear insulated storm 2 bike pants from cycle gear and they work excellent,, I make sure I stop at a McDonald's or somewhere to warm up for a bit, and your right about full face helmets , my head never gets cold, but you have to get used to using controls wearing thick gloves and clothes on

I have had frostbite on my face and nose, from winter riding. A lot of the skin on my nose, and some of my cheeks fell off. It doesn't show now. But some hairs grow on my nose now, to be yanked out. I wear ski clothes over my leather.

So I have ridden a gold wing for a long time . I just got an Electra Classic with a shorter windshield . I look through the goldwing windshield and over the Harley . How important is the windshield to you . Thinking about getting a winter shield
