Omg you are amazing. I am so happy I found your channel. I just got my box of this henna dye. Definitely wait the hour when applying the dye to cover greys. I wanted to see if the person listed her items but guess not. I listened to Barbara O'Neil she's a famous nutritionist and recommended 1/2cup of coconut oil, 1/2cup of castor oil, 10 drops of rosemary oil. Leave the mix on for a few hours and shampoo with no SLS shampoo and conditioner. SLS destroys hair follicles. Also drink 8 glasses of water. Eat a salad before each meal or veggies and eat grass fed meats or wild fish, sardines etc. if possible (Costco).

Exactly! Yes it can cover greys. I lost so much hair almost every time I rinse with regular hair dye especially at the salon! I have black hair. I will never ever sell out and go blonde just like the other boring dull people out there just because of greys. You just have to keep going at it. It is not hard to dye your hair every 4-6 weeks with hena or other dyes. Letting yourself go is the worst. All these women saying it is impossible to hide grey with henna etc. Just look at her in the video! It is possible! They are just pessimistic and lazy. When I get old I will go for a fun colorful hair color like purple lavender etc. Never white or grey!

I just grabbed a bottle at sprouts, I'm excited to try it! I've been using henna powder for nearly 12 years--now that I'm starting to get some grays, it will be great to have something i can easily touch up with. I've used this henna cream since the powder didn't cover the grey (front of face) this henna cream is the only one that covers the grey. I've used this product for the last 15yrs. Been using henna for 40 years.

Hello ChefRondaE! yes, it covered my grey as well. I really love this product and so happy to have found it. 😊 the funny thing is I also tried the shampoo and conditioner and did not like it. I’m still testing their hair mask but the henna hair cream is an absolute winner.

@@bodegraven1978 Hello Bodegraven1978! it lasts about 10 washes, but we can always do touchups on your roots. Because it’s primarily a natural product you can open up one of the bottles, touch up your roots, and then close it back up to store for later use. 😀🫶🏻♥️

SO glad I found this product. I suddenly developed a severe allergic reaction to hair dye. (They had to call 911 and I needed an Epi Pen), I felt so depressed because I have some greys around my face. I tried using "PPD Free" Dyes and still had reactions. I found this creme henna and used it. I am so happy with the results!! My hair looks great and feels so nice and soft. Covered the greys as well as the untoned highlights that the salon added (and they couldn't tone them so they were orange). VERY HAPPY!

Did you do a pre-test to see if you have allergic reaction? I’m also allergic to hair dye so my hair has been gray for over a year which has been so depressing.

@@HanhNS Yes I did a pre-test. No reaction at all. I use it monthly now. It is great. No smell, no itchiness, makes my hair soft and the colour is nice!

It made my hair a beautiful shiny dark rich chocolate color and it covered my gray amazingly. I need to redo the hairline again tomorrow cuz my light was dim and i missed some. But my favorite thing about it besides how easy it is and the color. Is my curl didn’t loosen and there’s no more WIRY poking out frizzy grays!!!! I love love love that !! This will be my goto definitely worth the $20 thx

Hi! I use it as directed on the bottle, damp towel dried hair out of the shower, and when I just do my roots I only use a quarter bottle since I don't have many grays 🫶🏻

You have encouraged me and this guide video is great. Monoethanolamine in the Nectar OWAY product has caused itching and hair loss. My colorist does not use Henna. The Surya product looks like a simple process as long as you have all gear ready to go.

Great video! I’ve been using the powdered henna for years and am sick of the mess and time suck of it, so I wanted to check this out, because it seems so much easier. @@gwenstone9685 it’s semi permanent and will wash out within about 15 washes. not sure how it will wear on your hair, my hair is dark so it’s not as big of a concerned and also my am pretty consistent at every four weeks

Hello! i’m absolutely in love with this product and still continue to use it… Your hair is not dry at all afterwards, silky even. It is a temporary hair color so it will fade after about two weeks for me. You can only apply it to the roots, and since it doesn’t have the same chemicals as traditional hair dye, you can use a little bit of the bottle at a time and then put it away for future use. It’s a bit more high maintenance because the color will wash out as it is not permanent, but my hair has never been more healthy.

Hi Eneyda! The stuff is pretty amazing… You do not have to store it in the refrigerator. Just screw on the cap and you could put it under the sink or in your medicine cabinet. Totally easy.

I had hair loss so badly but now getting better but i still working on it. I still put rosemary oil, minoxidil, n castor oil. But i have a lit of gray hair my age is 57 do you think it will be ok if i use this product while I’m still have hair loss?

I use herbatint dye to dye my roots, but I was considering to use the black color in this brand to dye my highlights on the ends, can I still use permanent dye color over this though, in case its not dark enough ?

Hi! I’ve never had an issue with this product, not covering or being dark enough on my hair, but I will remind you that this is semi permanent and washes out in about 15 washes so it will start lightning up with every wash. it doesn’t have any of the harsh ammonia or peroxide that typically would affect regular hair dye so I’m assuming it’s safe to color over but I’m not 100% sure so best thing to do is to email the company. @@stationjaya thanks so much for the reply back, but what I was wondering as it is a semipermanent dye, in the case I want to go back to permanent dye, would it be safe to color over, I feel it would be but someone said that it made their hair melt when they colored over as this isnt pure henna, so that's why I was wondering. Also some people said that it makes the hair reddish once it starts fading ?

it’s really going to depend, I don’t have that many white hairs, and I leave it on for an hour when I put it on. I like to dye my hair about once a month to once every three weeks and I take a shower and wash my hair every day so it pretty well on me.

@@stationjaya Ah thanks. I never expected a reply. I just dyed my hair and so much broke off, and left me with straw like hair. But I have about 30% greys. But it looks like this is a good alternative so cover my greys without knackering my hair. I too suffer from hair loss and do loads of treatments (including minoxidil).

Hi Noreen! I wouldn’t chance it day one. I definitely saw some color transfer on day one on my towel after washing but never noticed on my pillow cases which are a light cream color. I think you will be safe after one wash and dry 🫶🏻❤️
