Susan Tedeschi's debut album earned her a prestigious Grammy nomination for Best New Artist in 2000 (she lost to Christina Aguilera!). How magical it must have been to be there in the front row! I love watching this woman perform more than almost anything, but I haven't been able to see her in person (yet). Kinda funny after singing in such a soulful voice she comes on the mic saying 'Thank You' and it sounds almost like a college girl :)

That's pretty funny. I listened to the very end and you're right! Her very soulful voice is transformed into this different innocent "thank you" voice. Very funny! But I LOVE Susan's music. I could listen to her all day long. Great stuff.

alright... I'll join in... I grew up in MA and spent a lot of time at Boston clubs in the early/mid 90's. I remember when she announced she got a record deal... saw her play small clubs a bunch of times - got to say hello... class act and, well, quite a voice ;0) God bless.

willian 1st time i saw her was at a allman show also Dr john was the guest artist for the night and for his 2nd song brought her out on the beacon stage with i saw this person in a dive bar in new Orleans and i think your going to love her we did she blew Dickey off the stage and he was not happy he got schooled by this young person

@sickles211 It's called "Wait For Me" from the album with the same name. The song is written by Felix Reyes (She says so at the end). If you like this song, you might like Ray Charles' "Drown In My Own Tears". 95% of the chord changes are the same.

I love her and her man Derek BUT Her chops are on the weak side man . Sue Foley , Debbie Davies ,Ana Popovic and Joanna Connor ~ There are some serious women players out there . Susan is a vocalist that can play enough guitar to get by . She hired that Piano player to fill and shine things up a bit . Derek is AMAZING ! I have seen Mr. and Mrs. play a few times = lots .
