Well that was a nice launch. …just came back from Oshkosh where I purchased my Revolt. My father took a flight with me here in Colorado years ago in my Airborne 912 and vowed not ever again. :) I’m surfing RU-vid to make trike flying friends across the country.
I'm thinking of giving it a go. I guess it's like anything, driving a car or a motorbike can be dangerous, there is a lot more of them and you never know what other people are about to do. I've seen the clips of microlights tumbling and people banking too steeply and crashing, have you ever had any scary moments such as a sudden down draft of air coming in to land?
I would recommend a 4-12 grand airplane looking ultralight to these old kite style ones, and a solid few hours of instruction from a trainer, there are a surprising amount of hidden dangers that are difficult to predict or discover with logic and intuition alone.
@@yorkleroy5605I wouldn't feel safe with just a few hours, I will do this but I ain't doing it until I am confident to, and when I am confident enough to do it, it means I have a deeper understanding to the process.
Need to let her "Kiss the clouds". Get a bottle of oxygen, and go way up to some broken small clouds. Or takeoff right as the sun coming up. Have a thermos of coffee at the mile high. Not the club but the height. Maybe it's the noise a little. Get her some double hearing protection.
@@waterlife.1905 There is no getting around it… she is not afraid, she is not bothered by the wind or noise…..she just doesn’t have any fun (and thank God is still willing to let me have fun!!)…..
i wonder can you tow it on a trailer, cuz i am always on the go and would like to pull over and fly around in any area where i stop ?? @@richardernest2808
