Five suspects charged with killing two Kansas mothers appeared in court Wednesday for a pretrial hearing focusing on discovery. For that many people to be involved in two women's murder, there is simply more to this story than just a custody battle. I feel like the feud may have started or ended with the custody battle, but it seems like things somehow spiraled into multiple conflicts over various grievances that had probably been brewing for quite a while.
