Ramanjeet Singh Walia is a Civil Engineer and has worked as a chief concrete technologist for the last 18 years. He has been awarded by the Indian concrete institute as an Outstanding young concrete engineer. He is a member of the Indian Concrete Institute and concrete engineers and a member of the Indian Institute of professional civil engineers.
He has worked in many projects like DMRC and some high rise building like the Common wealth Games Village. He has worked on a lot of value added concrete products like Ultra High Performance concrete (UHPC) which does not require steel reinforcement, light weight concrete, decorative concrete etc. He spoke to us about sustainable materials that help reduce carbon footprint.
