for any Canadians considering Hara the label: I have been ordering from them for a few years now and I love them so so much. I've never had to pay any duties in case anyone was worried about that :) xx

@@downthelaine I usually buy one set (matching bra/underwear) which is usually around the $80 mark with their discount, but my most recent one was $170 and that one didn't have duties either :) (prices are in CAD x )

of course!! I've heard duties depend on order sizes if you order from arq (ie small orders with 1-2 pieces don't have duties but if you order more you get hit with some - don't quote me though)! x

I own an absurd amount of ARQ but I regret nothing. Since discovering it, it’s revolutionized how I think of loungewear. Color is also huge, as a dark skinned black woman ARQ and Knickey made actual nudes for me

Thank you so much for this. I've been waiting for a video like this. I've recently been looking for sustainable underwear and it's been a bit of a struggle trying to find stuff I like. For anyone looking for some more lacy-typed underwear I've found a brand called Kat the Label which is an Australian company that ship internationally.

Thank you for being so brave to post this. ☺️ I am searching for ethical intimates at the moment. I just purchased sewing patterns for diy bras and a bikini swimsuit pattern for the bottoms I liked. I was thinking of buying silk or lace remnants online as well. I will have to check out these lines you mentioned beforehand to avoid the extra effort 😁 of diy intimates 😂

I bought the ARQ bra/undie set after watching this video and I LOVE them! I've been looking for ages for the perfect sustainable bra that fits me comfortably (small band/larger cup). I've tried so many of the most well known sustainable brands, but none fit as well or as comfortable as ARQ. Thank you so much for the recommendation!

thanks for these recommendations. i got two pairs of bras from mary young and i am so in love with them. they actually make me want to wear bras again (i gave them up all of last year haha). i'm quite obsessed with them. i was wondering what your opinion of thinx was? i got quite a few pairs two years ago and then later heard about the ceo sexually harrassing her employees and that they came back positive when tested for phthalates... so i am not sure if i should keep wearing them. they weren't cheap and i do like them, but i am just wondering about the phthalates...

As an owner of a single pair of proclaim underwear: I washed my underwear in a new washer and it ripped holes in every single pair of underwear (I owned lots of VS, some from target and some from who knows where) except my proclaim underwear came out unscathed, so do with that what you will
