Great Marty. Uplifting. Exodus 20:6 in kjv says mercy, and not the translation of loving kindness. In my opinion is, this is deliberate to not triggered. Any idea that Grace, which can be defined usually by mercy is given by obeying. So they downgraded the word to loving kindness. NIV did this year and but it didn’t follow it when Daniel the prophet is praying the prayer of Exodus 20 verse six verbally they translated his mercy there but everywhere else. The word in Hebrew is translated as loving kindness to remove any concept that it was mercy in the law

Why do you bother the publik with your prayers?! Ignoring the words of Jesus in an embarassing manner. Pray in your private chamber and not before thousands of people. You are copycating the hypocrites with this behavior

NO place does it say you can not pray in public, its warns NOT to pray like the hypocrites, You don't think the Apostles ever prayed and layed hands on some one in public? Do you think i am babbling with repeating prayers? Am I saying the same thing over and over and making long winded prayers? If you don't like it go away! I've heard this argument before, read the reason it was said and not the location. If I do long winded prayers i do it privately.
