i have an old 95 2 stroke Suzuki 2 stroke on my 18ft Lund Alaskan. i have the video on my channel. i reached almost 56kph or 34.4mph. i did this with a stainless prop, i dropped 1 inch of circumferance and added an 1 inch of pitch. also dropped some weight in the boat.

what is the weight deference between the 40 4t and the 40 2t nothing wrong with a 4 stroke but what have they been trying to do with 4 strokes over the last 20 years is make a 4 stroke that can perform like a 2 stroke so hay just buy a dame 2 stroke if you want a boat motor that runs like a 2 stroke i say i went with the e-tec 90 on my 20' cc tff because i wanted to sit as high as i could in the water when fishing the inter coastal waters and when Bow Fishing but still have the hole shot torque to get on plain when sitting is 18"

E-Tec is cheaper again because of the savings you get from not needing to service the outboard for 3 years to start with. Also, the E-Tec will operate great on 91 octane fuel where the four-strokes prefer higher octane fuels.

Awesome videos and comparisons. Your SUZUKI mania really gives a good explanation of your testing. Could I ask a question about specs, the SUZUKI wed page says the 40hp and 50hp both weigh 229 Lbs. is that accurate or is the 50 more in actuality. In comparison is there any real difference in the two. Thank you for the great videos and I look forward to hearing from you.

What sort of dollars would I be looking at for a 420 Renegade Ts with 30 suzuki four stroke? Really like the Renegade but thought a 30 would be underpowered and really cant afford a 40 fourstroke. I'm only 70 kilos and the same with my regular fishing mate. Do you think the 30 would be satisfactory or would I be left wanting? But this video makes me think I could get away with the 30 four and not regret it. Great video by the way, very informative!

Wow Great four stroke extra weight less fuel? If you put all that computerised ignition Fuel system on a 2 stroke Then you will have a cracking motor. And better sounding and that's fact.

E tech 40 two stroke, 300 hours till the first maintenance, no break in period, no oil changes ever..... cleanest burning of all outboards fuck anything else e Tec all the way baby. unless of course you need a really good boat anchor I always like to bring along a Yamaha to Anchor my boat

+Paul Humphreys WEll ... another way of looking at it is .... it's a REALLY slow 60HP ..... Yes Paul you have spotted something there, you can;t beat Cubes for bottom end and many of the 4 strokes are now coming around to that as a solution. The other thing to think of is the less stress you put on something the longer it's going to last. Big cubes less stress longer life.

George Meyer Hi George, we don't just sell new motors we sell new boats too. The reason we run these tests is to answer the questions many of our customers have. Because of that, we have to provide truthful outcomes and results. Case in point even though we love Suzuki we no longer sell their product. If we were just trying to sell more motors we would have taken this video down.

My Boring Channel :-( Well there's the truth and there's what we must say to be politicly correct. I'll try and do both in the one statement. You're going to see most of the brands are now wanting dealers to be exclusively married to them. Now that's really hard when you're brand is only popular in a few key categories. While we do love boats, lets face it all the banks care about is we pay our mortgage .... So we have to do things that make money and that includes give customers choice. If you drive past our shop you'll notice theres been a few BIG changes. Like the massive BRP sign, a whole new sea-doo range and a number of other brand specific products like can-am ATV and Spyder. We still love Suzuki, but they're trying this whole new monogamy thing and that just didn't work with where we are heading or suzuki's business model they wanted us to follow. So it's just a plain and simple businesses thing. We'd keep selling them if we could because they are the worlds best 4 stroke.

Bronson its a public channel and you're free to share your thoughts. Anyway the vortex is cloned from a 2 Stroke Japanese brand that we can't mention but its not a Toe hat or Sue but side by side you can see they are identical.
