i'd love to see the japanese take on slightly older euro cars, like the late 70's to mid 90's ones, when the transition from boxy to round was happening. bonus points if you can find some cars from companies that no longer exist/make cars, like DAF or an old Saab.
@@niilomakinen well, i have seen the higher end Mercedes and BMW and stuff like that. but outside the either high end models, and maybe the popular mid segment stuff, i haven't seen much.
My buddy had a Cappuccino in Florida in like the first year they were legal to import. He daily drove it, heavily modified it and loved it dearly. Sadly he passed away and the car was sold off by his mother. I loved the little thing, and took any chance I could to drive it. Miss ya, B. Thanks for the memories Alexi, loved watching this!
I look forward to any video you upload, don't worry about what is "good content" anything you post is good content and greatly appreciated. im always excited to watch :D
@@shannacollins4741 Well, I already knew of the cute cappuccino but there are other cars that I had no idea about until seeing them in a Noriyaro video like the dodge vans. I was more talking about the idea of niche track day videos.
@@freakyfreak7777 cool yeah they have alot of niche car days over in Japan they celebrate any car no matter expensive or not and yeah check out Noriyaros other videos hes been to alot of those kind of track days with different niche cars !
Ah yes The engine that i called *Baby VRDETT* Sounds nearly identical, but in a smaller package *Love it* Edit: Ouch. That Koyori-GTR *definitely* has an engine problem. Sounds real rough. But hey, those Grip-chino actually hauls ass. Impressive.
I couldn't stop giggling during this whole video. These Cappuccino's look absolutely adorable sliding around corners. hahaha 5:58 The size comparison is on point here.
Watching Cappuccinos race a skyline brings back some fun Forza memories with friends where we would all race wacky combos together. Also gives me Top Gear rallycross vibes.
Since Gran Turismo brought to light one-make series, why not see if their real life counterparts, like the Nissan March or like they have in Canada, the Nissan Sentra, or in the US, the Mazda Miata/Roadster?
8:45 HOWWWWWW! I own a beat and drift a Miata. I for sure get drifting a cappuccino i couldn’t imagine drifting my beat. Please please please get us some more info on this car if you see it again! This is amazing, I’ve never seen a beat drifting before. The front ends are so light every time I’ve ever tried it just pushes the front end.
He mentioned the stock Cappuchini required soft spring in the rear for more drift stability and the best tuned drift car had to use a lock of rear ebrake mid drift so that means It's very hard to drift.
4:10 i love voiceover sections like this where you explain certain parts of cars/the japanese scene! would love for u to do this more-- keep up the amazing vids alexi!
This was an awesome video. The Suzuki Wagon R is my favorite Kei car, I would love to see a video dedicated to those. I just love how much they look like those squished toon car fan art but like irl
Would love to see a VW meet on here! Would be interesting to see what people in Japan do to their old Golf's and Polo's, and what sort of style they go for on them too.
These are so cool and cute, some look like a small S2000 or a small Miata, really like them and thinking to have 120-130hp in such a light rear wheel driven car makes me think i would love to drive them.
I’d love to see a Nissan Serena drift meet, Alexi. It was my family’s car and surprisingly good at getting sideways. The black one you had in a previous video was awesome!
omg those things are cute af!!!! in all the videos of cappuccinos you never get the scale of how tiny those really are. But with your video i finally have a reference about the size. I sooooo want one!!! I love small cars and those are amazing.
It would have been really informative if you went over how to make these things faster. There's not too much information on the internet about these kei cars.
For parts stuff, you can probably watch some Hot Version videos, - they have kei cars featured sometimes too, and the parts are usually shown before a shakedown. Else, usually power upgrades (with probably slapping a bigger turbo than the teensy tiny stock one), bigger and stickier tires, etc etc
You should check out an rc drift shop. I don’t know how big rc drift cars are in Japan but I think it would make a cool video. Those guys really go into detail with those little 1/10 cars and it’s pretty entertaining seeing a train of 10 of them drifting around the track.
-All Altezza meet or track day would be interesting to see! -JZX110W or Toyota wagon meet/track day? -Honda track racing! -Spec racing of an odd model? -Touge driving and meet lifestyle? As always I love the content! When I see the upload the stoke is real
Great Video Alexi! Glad to see the car covered. I owned one in 2016 and we met back then in Mobara. These cars are surprisingly fast and it was the most fun I ever had in one haha. Too bad you don’t fit in one :D
My ex-girlfriends dad had one of these and was heavily modified bigger turbo, intercooler, monster exhaust, tuned etc. He didn't drive it much and would regularly hand me the keys to drive it to keep the battery charged etc. I remember gapping a LS1 holden ute and surprising the driver. Most fun car to drive and I have an r33 boat. They rev to a million! Drifting was heart stopping as the rear axle was about a foot behind your bum and made the angles feel extreme.
This is a perfectly timed upload for me, because I’m on season 4 ep 11 on initial D where takami is racing the red cappuccino. Great video my friend! 👍
I'm living in Japan so I'm taking the chance to inspect a few Honda beats and Suzuki cappuccinos hoping to buy one soon. So this is a super important video to seeing which one I want.
A massive 1L "big block turbo" swap that's hilarious and awesome. I'd drive things like this too if I got such cuts on the road tax. Also holy shit that little red cappuccino hauls ass. The turbo Wagon R is just chef's kiss, beautiful. It's very much THE senior citizen car in western Europe.
The commitment to driving that cappuccino was sorely lacking... Surely the fans deserve limbs chopped off in pursuit of the art! 🤪 Fab video, what a great fun event!
There is an 'ABC K-Car Meet' in Japan where you can get all the: A- AutoZam AZ-1 B- Honda Beat and C - Suzuki Cappucino, Suzuki Cara, Daihatsu Copen in one big gathering and trackday.
love seeing those lil things slide around 😂, also if its possible alexi can you make a video about european tuning shops in Japan, like assist or studie AG??
