Are you talking about the O-rings on the pump? You'll be all right you'll see it when you take it apart. They usually end up working. Two Wheel Rocco Sir regarding the heat shrink you used, was it gasoline resistant, or it doesn’t matter? I just found another wire with a cracked/brittle insulation wrapped around it is exposed. Wire is exposed to gasoline. Thank you

I purchased mine on eBay the two wire in the three wire. it's just a different gas gauge set up the two and the three will work back-and-forth, the main plug is three the fuel pump will be two or three it will work, Let us know how this works out. Ride Safe and have a great day.

I ended up buying a used pump from eBay because my fuel light stayed on. the wiring is very delicate on the Suzuki pumps for the gas gauge. Hope this helps hope this helps.

Two Wheel Rocco actaully didn’t get my started turns on I can hear it but it won’t crank or click literally nothing when I hit the starter button

Happy to Help. That was three years ago. I would test it with a 12 V battery as long as the pump works you're in good shape the other wire will be for the gas gauge. What I would do is go to eBay and take a look at the used pumps of your year. See how the wire is laid out. shouldn't be that bad. Sorry I couldn't tell you exactly. @@TwoWheelRocco im pretty sure i need a new pump but dnt wanna risk the 800$ oem one after my older 05 became salvaged plus not guarenteed thats the issue. I purchased the 70$ quantum pump to attempt to fix it. Any suggestions on shitty cheap pump. Apparently some reviews approved it

Happy to help. That would tell me you have a bad wire on the pump that energizes the fuel light. When you take a look at the pump, I believe there's three wires and they are very low quality do not disturb type wires that break real easy. they just don't make the full connection. when the pump was taken apart and replaced, there's a good chance one of those wires a cracked inside might look good but It is not sending the signal and that just makes the red light on.. @@TwoWheelRocco thanks Rocco the wires all looked great and intact but there’s only two wires on the pump one for the pump and one for the little sliver boba that it has on the side on your video you have two silver boba mines only has one that sends the Signal when it’s low on gas could that possibly be bad it’s not sending a signal and how do you test that if it only has one wire into it mines motorcycle is a GXR 600 2002 Any thoughts will be great

Open the fuel cap on the tank put the key back in the ignition and turn it on and see if you hear a fuel pump if the bike rotate There's a good chance it's your pump. Buy the bike accordingly. What year how many miles. Thank you for watching and all your support. Ride safe and have a great day.

How long did it sit with bad gas in the tank? That's what it sounds like? How did that tank smell 8000 miles, If motor rotate and you got it for the right price you can't go wrong.

OEM replacement 100%, sometimes it will take me a month to three months to find the right Fuel Pump for an elder Bike. I just did BMW I just finished. I don't like to alter pumps. Let us know how it works out.
