Dude thank you man so glad I found your channel. Just bought my 2005 GZ with 7000 miles on it. Dude didnt do crap to his bike, I'm gonna fix it up. Thanks so much man subscribed!
I like your trick to pulling the chain through but you should always pull that side cover on the engine and check the front sprocket Once I went under the cover to fix it oil leak come out leak coming from my transmission shaft and this is on A660 raptor Yamaha I was getting ready to go on a trip with it and found I only had one tooth on that front sprocket and I had no Skipping with all that horsepower I'm surprised they still had the 1 tooth
Nice video. Do all the new chains come with a master link or are some riveted on. New to this my gz250's chain is very rusty. The bike which I just got only has 6,000 miles so I am thinking that I could dip the chain in rust remover than re- oil. The bike sat outside for 5 years. Thanks.
Yes all new chains come with master link... new chain is inexpensive ( probably $40 on eBay) and it's good idea to change it because if your old one brakes you can make a big mess and other damage that will cost you a lot of trouble and money... You can replace it by yourself if you watch my video it's no big deal... Thank you for watching and please subscribe
